Most of you would have read about or heard Kylie's new track today...

For the younger ones who do not know who Giorgio Moroder is,

bet you've heard of this track...

Together in Electric Dreams - Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder (#3 in Sep 1984)

Paloma is such an intriguing artiste. I find her strangely attractive.

She gives a raw vibe that promises a potential for a monster single/album.

Will keep her on my music radar.

Hey, did you get to watch her at the Brit Awards?

She won Best British Female,

a long overdue one at long last too...

Wow. Her performance is simply divine.

Love what the stylist did to her, especially the 'gloves'.

Tks for posting it, SW.

Here's the official video,

which IMO is pale in comparison to the "live" performance...

It's good see that the Brits are reclaiming the top positions in the UK singles chart this week,

at least for the top 2 positions...

#1 House Every Weekend - David Zowie

Not to be confused with David Bowie,

David Zowie is a British DJ & this is his debut single

How about this one about the other "gay",

an anti-war song that addresses the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on 6 August 1945,

and directly mentions three components of the attack:

the Boeing B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay, which dropped the nuclear weapon Little Boy on Hiroshima at "8:15"...

Not much of an excitement in the British Singles chart lately,

except for the few Brit Awards' winners who see themselves going back into to the charts again.

Nonetheless, here's this week's American-centric Top 5...

#1 (non-mover) Mirrors - Justin Timberlake

2 (climber) When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars

#3 (faller) Pompeii - Bastille*

#4 (climber) Just Give Me A Reason Feat. Nate Ruess - Pink
#5 (faller) Thrift Shop - Macklemore/Ryan Lewis/Wanz

* Hooray for Bastille too who have beaten Stereophonics’ new offering, Graffiti On The Train, to clinch this week's Official Albums Chart #1 spot with debut album Bad Blood.

Remember Bastille and the Pompeii tune,

I think their latest offering is equally catchy too...

Good Grief - Bastille (#13 in Jun 2016)

Arhhhhhh!!!!! Just discovered this song although I knew PSB had released the Super some time back.

Happiness is plain wicked. Memories of good gay clubbing days and the simple lyrics...

"I'm gonna get my boy the only way I know"

Twentysomething resonates too...

"New" single from the late George Michael...

...it's not all that new actually,

for this track was first featured on Ladies & Gentlemen: The Best of George Michael album,

and also on the flip side of the single "Outside"...

2 songs to recommend today.

1.   Fantasy, the 1990s original and the now-posthumously released version.

Personally I prefer the older version and had used it for my treadmill jogging. Yes, it is so 90s and funky. However I cant deny the strength of Nile Rodgers.  Definitely will have to add this newer version to my playlist.. bye Despacito  and never Taylor Swift!

The current version..

2.   Falling slowly

Happened to watch 中国新歌声 and found this gem. It was composed by an Irish man and it won an Oscar in 2007 for the Best Original Song.  The original version is so melancholic and depressing while the duo gave some hope to that relationship.

中国新歌声的版本。

原本女生/女声只是伴唱。。其实, 他们也表现得很好。不过Joanna 董太强了。。47-4 太over了。
