What Was The Last Song You Were Listening To?

DriveMe

Recommended Posts

Shall we meet as winds

Shall we meet as clouds

Shall we meet as river water

Shall we meet as the ocean

Whatever you became whatever you became I long to be whatever to be near you

Shall we separate as rocks

Shall we separate as trees

Shall we separate as fish

Shall we separate as craw fish

Whatever you became whatever you became I remain in separation between you and me

What shall I meet you as

How can I separate with you

One of my fav renowned guitarist - John Williams, who rearranged his own rendition of Ennio Morricone's version of Once Upon a Time in the West.

The pasrt where the lady singer comes in humming with the strings, is as though there is an inner grieving that cannot be released, nor any words can describe.

Simply haunting and timeless.....

This song was once like my personal journal....grieving over a betrayed relationship a long time ago, when I still believed, that love was unconditional..... until you are proven wrong

In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take..

Holding Out For a Hero - Bonnie Tyler

Where have all the good men gone

And where are all the gods?

Where's the street-wise Hercules

To fight the rising odds?

Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?

Late at night I toss and turn and dream

of what I need

[Chorus]

I need a hero

I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night

He's gotta be strong

And he's gotta be fast

And he's gotta be fresh from the fight

I need a hero

I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light

He's gotta be sure

And it's gotta be soon

And he's gotta be larger than life

Somewhere after midnight

In my wildest fantasy

Somewhere just beyond my reach

There's someone reaching back for me

Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat

It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet

[Chorus]

Up where the mountains meet the heavens above

Out where the lightning splits the sea

I could swear that there's someone somewhere

Watching me

Through the wind and the chill and the rain

And the storm and the flood

I can feel his approach

Like the fire in my blood

*This song reflects my exact sentiments....LOL!

Glee - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) <media player removed for brevity>

The only musical series that I started watching in Canada. The songs, choreography and cinematography are crispy and dazzling. :thumb:

An oldie for the die-hard lover. The simple lyrics cut right through ..."what seems like an interlude now could be the beginning of love..."

Paul Peterson, an 87 year old in Sound Beach, New York is an epitome of positiveness. In our chat today he wrote,

'I spent far too much time licking my wounds and spending too much energy on what can't be changed..... I have had a rather dismal history with my marriages and children and there is nothing I can do to change the situation....I have also found that as I have become more accepting of others, I have attracted the others of a positive nature..... and they have been mostly Asians and Native Americans.... whom I find of a like mind'

In parting, he left this for my viewing and I share it with you -

People come into Your Life for a Reason.

One of the few songs, written by Madonna, that shows a different light, her as a human, grieving for the lost of own mother when she was very young, The feeling you get, as thought a divine love is watching over each time a being grieves on earth Not doubt she is a Diva in the music world, and will be an icon when she passes over one day, diva or or, not, all divas ( or Buddhas)have to experience the human soul to feel both joy happiness , sufferingand pain, through which self realization is attained, then can they be, divas of their own right

I can't remember

When I was young

I can't explain If it was wrong

My life goes on

But not the same

Into your eyes

My face remains

[i've been so high] I've been so down

[up to the skies] Down to the ground

I was so blind I could not see

Your paradise Is not for me

Autour de moi

Je ne vois pas

Qui sont les anges

Surement pas moi

Encore une fois

Je suis cassée

Encore une fois

Je n'y crois pas

(All around me I could not see

Who are the angels

Surely not me

Once more again I am broken

Once more again I don't believe it

I've been so high

I've been so down

Up to the skies

Down to the ground

There is a light Above my head

Into your eyes My face remains

(chorus) I can't remember

When I was young

Into your eyes

My face remains

Into your eyes

My face remains (chorus, repeat) :
