I'll be heading to BKK soon and wanted some help shortlisting a massage/spa for a visit. I'll most likely be in the central Siam area, and looking at a few options on hand - Jeyspa, Ninemen, Senso, Prestige. I would appreciate if you can dm and share your experiences and what to expect, many thanks 🤗

With a body like the one in your avatar, you would be welcome in any spa/massage/sauna you visit, and I am sure you will be well sought after.

Have fun, be safe.  Share your adventures here when you come back. 😁

I like Maxwell sauna in Silom area, but it is a bit of a walk from the nearest Metro/Skytrain.

Zen Sauna is very convenient, it is just a few steps from the Skytrain station.

I hope this helps.

With regard to massage, I can't help.  Maybe someone else can assist you.

Add them on your Line app and check if their masseur suits your taste. No point visiting one that doesn’t have a masseur that you like. Prestige is not bad (but tips can be pricy).

you can try TCS spa or S’Sense Suanplu too.

for more affordable option, just go Olivia massage (go to their FB and choose your poison).

Solo travelling at the end if June. Torn between trying out Togayther Hostel Bangkok or Quarter.

I do enjoy the convenience of a gym though...but also, when I went to MiniInn in TPE, that was amazing too - assuming Togayther is the same.

Quarter

Togayther - most if not all of the guests are ah tiongs, location a bit off,

Anyone ever brought a MB with them into a sauna or onsen?  My thinking is since this is my first time to BK for cruising, why not hire someone with local knowledge and with benefits to show me around and could be an icebreaker inside the sauna playing with other guests.  Genius or crazy idea?

You can do that. Do note that not all MBs have been to sauna/onsen of your choice so they may not know what to do as well.

Just make sure the MB you find has nagivated the scenes that you'll want to go to :)

Enjoy!

But the MB might be reluctant to visit any Onsen/Sauna (except those explicitly gay ones like Krubb or Mania) as it might taint his image. But I guess, the MB wouldn't even want to join into any real gay sauna at all.

Further, cost would be probably between 2500 - 4000 Baht per 24 hours.

Most MBs intend to make money fast and prefer having various customers within a certain time span as the revenue will be higher...

Lastly,

a) you probably pay upfront and during the trip he might just disappear

b) it turns out he doesn't fully comply with what you search, then the whole trip is spoiled...

Probably better to get some guy from the app who is willing to show you around and not a MB and you just give some benefits like paying him dinner and entry tickets. Can buy some 1 or 2 week extra subscription on the app and search for someone from your home base. (Would be cheaper than the MB cost). You never know, might end up marrying the guy who brings you around in BKK...

Good point, I will look into alternative boy from apps.  As for marrying the guy, I highly doubt it.  Paying is less complicate then free sex, at the end of the day, I want a peace of mind.

The marrying part was just comical acknowledging that Thailand allows gay marriage now...

Paying for fun aka MB, the fun might still be very "clinical".

MBs are trained to make you come fast.

Some of them are in relationships and avoid kissing or too much romance (the latter in fear of getting to connected to you).

Many of them expect the customer to be a bottom and just do some more or less quicker humping.

Sure if you can afford the upscale escort who will engage much more with a customer, then go ahead.

In my personal opinion dating guys from apps or engaging MBs you still can get caught by grey or black sheep.

The worst is if you got someone hired and can't even take his "body scent" or attitude...

Whereas, with a normal guy, you just get an excuse and are off the hook.

Anybody has any experience/review (doesn't have to be gay/cruisy experience) of Let's Relax Onsen & Spa Thonglor?

I didn't realise I will be staying at the hotel (Grand Centre Point) where the Onsen is located at, for my upcoming solo trip in early June.

Just want to know if it is worth the visit or Yunomori is still the go-to onsen in Bangkok.

Thanks!

Since you not going for gay / cruisy experience, just go to the one that is most convenient. Only if you want to to go gay onsen, then there's minor differentiating factors here and there :)

Personally I've been to Yunomori Onsen at Sathorn and it was a nice relaxing experience. I heard the one at Sukhumvit has more facilities, but if the crowd is roughly the same, then I think whichever straight onsen you go to, it doesn't matter.

Relax, enjoy, and have a comforting onsen bath.

Thanks, I booked Quarter instead. Had to move my trip to early June and now only there for 3 nights instead of 4  :(.

3 nights is still enough to have much fun in Bangkok, especially early June is the start of Pride celebration. There'll be plenty of activities going on at gay establishments. You'll have enough time to have fun!

Ohh wah, the one at lumphini is brand new. I went to take a look at the video that you shared - it looked damn nice! thanks alot for the recommendation - grand centre point lumphini also looks much nicer and it is way closer to the train station than mine. Gonna see if I am able to cancel and book the one at lumphini instead.

Thanks man! 🙏🏻

Thanks for the sharing. You sound very experienced in the gay onsen scene for Bangkok - mind sharing more?

Since Let's Relax Thonglor is already in the same building as my hotel, wanted to know if it is worth going, from what I've read it's a strictly straight/family-friendly establishment right?

But yeah probably will check it out to just relax and experience it

Thanks 👍🏻

Hey, as for the gay onsens, if you do not have time to onsen hop, just go to Maxwell Onsen :) it is the most accessible, which means more footflow and more boys for you. Maxwell Onsen has a good mix of international tourists and local boys for you to play with. Don't be shy and do go have a go at it.

Since Let's Relax Thonglor is just within the same building, I'll say go for it. If you just want to relax and not engage in any hanky panky or not in the mood to gaze (or be gazed by) at other men, a straight / family friendly establishment isn't really a bad thing either right?

The most important factor is what you want to get out of the onsen experience. Have fun!

Alrighty, thanks man for the recommendation! Yeah i'll definitely won't have time to onsen hop (not that kind of trip) but I'll try to squeeze in Maxwell if I have time I hope.

And yeah I'll definitely drop by Let's Relax Thonglor, no harm anyways since it is already so conveniently there 😂 and at the very least I get to relax and enjoy some onsen.

Agreed.  Maxwell Onsen is non discriminatory, and there is no particular bias towards any body shape.

The important point is to be receptive.  There are people who would give out friendly signals, but you are not receptive, nothing will come out of it.

May you have a fruitful time there.

With all these onsens, are saunas still worth visiting? I know an Onsen is a "Japanese sauna" but it lacks the amusement of dark corners, mazes and all those other things that a traditional cruising sauna have.

Sauna Mania, R3 Sauna, Krubb sauna and Chakran sauna are still worth visiting.

Onsen largely is for people who enjoy mutual jerk offs, receiving or giving blowjobs. The steamroom is dark and full of action.

There are private "rooms" that is partitioned and closable via a curtain for cuddling / making out, or even sex if you don't mind the lack of privacy, but it is rare.

Depends on what you prefer for sexual gratification, that'll determine the location you go to.

quite different in terms of what they offer.

saunas for full on sex, but onsens generally nicer environment, brighter so you can see much more

i have found onsens tend to be generally touching or sucking in the steam rooms, even though the upstairs areas of these onsens also have private resting rooms.

if seeking anal, i think going to sauna will be more likely.

Thanks all! Lol I'm well aware of the ongoings of sauna vs Onsen - I suppose my concern was if there was still a crowd at saunas because onsens are trending and the talk of the forum at the moment.

i am quite sure there is an impact on the crowd levels at sauna.

But during my trip in Feb/Mar this year, both Mania and R3 were busy enough.

I guess without the onsens they would have been even busier.

I ended up going to Mania, R3, zen, maxwell, machiya, and kino  ( the last two not recommended)
