Fair, to be frank I'm just a bit iffy with saunas/onsens because the one time I went to a sauna I didn't really get to have a choice and was pulled into a room. I know I could've said no but it was pretty overwhelming as in the public area it was multiple guys trying their luck, so I went with one to get out of the 'scary' outside situation. It was very interesting! Anyway, shortly after my dick started to itch and I had like a rash, had to get it checked out and turned out to be a fungal infection, so it's a bit of a gamble for me to go to those areas even though I do find the whole idea quite arousing.

 

And about the massages, I think I just randomly go to any massage parlour. I love getting massages, regardless of whether it's clean or not, and so I of course always pick the cheap ones when I'm in Thailand!  but it could be possible to check out Prime if I have time.

I mean, I actually have never been because of the price. I used to work really close by too but just never went, I did hear from some straight friends who went that they felt like it was a pretty gay place because they felt like they were watched. There was also a massive thread (not sure if it still exists) on here about the onsen, so it's definitely a cruising spot at least, and then maybe people go to another place to fool around. 

 

One other smaller reason I didn't go as well is because I was worried I might get too horny in the onsen knowing that there may be people who would be down for action. In normal onsens in Japan I don't really get that sexual tension so it's easy to fully relax, but knowing that it's a cruising spot will probably turn me on a bit too much for somewhere where you'd want to be naked. Don't wanna walk around with the little friend at attention if you know what I mean.

Totally agree with the sexual tension part but that's mostly at the Sathorn branch. The other at Sukhumvit 26 is ok. 

 

Price is more reasonable compared to Singapore branch.

with the price of 480B per entry, I cannot demand more anymore, the best sauna experience in a lifetime, that may be forever won't be found in Singapore. 

I just feel like I am in Taiwan or China, 800 people squeeze into that 4 storey building, I am really scared of stampede, seriously .... but luckily all patrons behave well and their crowd control is quite good. 

at the rooftop, may be this is the wildest sex show that you may imagine and experience ..... Even thou the foam party only last for about one hour, but after all you will feel super tired .... and it is good timing to drop by nearby place for foot+body massage ..... Sauna Mania is really mania : )

ya when I was there last August, at first I was also "scared" when the foam party started... coz it was so packed and the front of the rooftop was filled with foam to neck level and you can't leave before it's old... but after awhile I got used to it, and ya wow what a show :-)

Any day is good for any guy in Maxwell Onsen.  It was large, it was clean, it was friendly. 

And the food is pretty good too - don't lose your entrance ticket, it is needed to redeem a meal. 

 

The "activity" is mainly in the steam room.  You can choose not to participate, and just watch, if that is what you prefer.

you still can move to less foam side, just don't stand near the source. But it is so pack that you can feel your skin so soapy and slimy ... nobody complaint if you touch wrongly and no pushing attitude like in SG. They will just reject politely if they do not want you to touch them.

not that attractive i mean is the place. if u compare the facilities from the website u sent, it is quite old style. Maxwell is new and feel more clean.

FYI...massage ctr around Pratunam  is cheaper than say in Silom! Basic Foot massage/Thai massage at B$200 during Happy Hour whereas in Silom rates from B$300 onwards!!!

The main saunas most will be crowded also will have long queue for entry.

Many China gay travel BKK for holiday season.

On internet got photo from 30/31 Dec 23 queue.

Price for sauna will be higher also for this timing.

The general rule is that on weekdays, the saunas and onsens see the crowd coming in after working hours. 

 

For your needs, you may wish to go to these places perhaps an hour before the offices close.
