1/0 Sauna Bangkok Review

 

 

Visit Saturday, 23 May 2026 arrival ¬7.30pm

 

Address: 113 113/10, 11 Surawong Rd, Suriya Wong, Bang Rak, 10500 BKK

 

It is at Silom a few alleys aways from the Patpong night market. (nearest BTS/MRT:  Samyan) you need to walk a small alley at the temple to cross over to Surawong Road. Once you reach Le Meridien Hotel, you just need to cross over to the other small dead-end ally.) You will see the Togayther Hostel in rainbow colours. You need to walk the white round stairs up.

 

At the entrance you pay (in cash only), get a plastic bag into which you need to place your shoes, find the locker, it has a towel. Guys below 24y just need to pay 99 Baht, others either 300 workdays and Fri to Sun 450. (Note: you get one free entry, which can be used at any time after). There is a lower fee for visitors after midnight.

 

Inside at the basement are the showers, toilets, a pool and one smaller steam sauna, two stairs up because the ground floor (actually 2^nd floor) is the locker and reception area, there is a bar, further up are some private rooms, the maze area (3^rd and 4^th floor), on the highest floor is a small terrasse with smoking area. There is no dry sauna. The pool was underutilised during my visit.

 

When I arrived the maze area was already quite packed with action happening. Most guys were around the labyrinth area on the third floor and at the long bed at the back of the maze one floor higher. More people arrived around 8.30/9pm.

 

Crowd was mixed but due to the attached hostel (they have free access to the sauna area), the majority was Mainland Chinese in their 20s to mid 30s. It seems most of the rest were visitors, Pinoys, Indian guys, other South East Asian but also a few Thai, a few South Asian and maybe 3 – 5 white Guys. I wouldn’t say it was packed like KB on a Saturday 8pm but there was sufficient play material for everyone. The mix seems also better than other places with Chinese just making up 40 – 50%)

 

At the bed maze, action was raunchy, but had also some on watchers (maybe some first-time sauna goers or shyer ones). If you are not into the open fun, there are plenty of lockable rooms and also a labyrinth style maze one floor below. It has some gloryholes but nobody used it. Overall however, it was more uninhibited action here than other places in BKK.

 

Maybe around 8.30 to 11 pm was the hottest time. Some attractive guys even made out in the well-lighted area and didn’t mind others to join in. Guys were also chatty, friendly and in no way aggressive in their approach.  

 

The website is all in Chinese and it is said that the owners are also Chinese (but not sure on that, the guy at the reception looked very Thai to me).

 

After 10pm the bar at the 2^nd floor was very well visited and quite crowded.

 

For those who didn’t like walking to the basement for the shower, there were two toilets with attached showers on the third floor.

 

Honestly, competition of such saunas seems quite tough, I found many online critics false. Yes, the place might have had some water supply issues at the first two months, but during my visit all worked well. The place was also in no way dirty or filthy. I wouldn’t say it was overly packed but surely sufficiently well visited to find play material of your liking.

 

Besides the one sauna at Hat Yai some months back I for long never had that much action as at this place. But the well visited fact might be due to the curiosity because the place is still quite new.

 

Bring your own lub and condoms.

 

Compared to Mania, the Mainland Chinese weren’t annoying and for sure the facilities are newer. While Mania gets crowded on weekends until there is no place for action with loud chatting Mainland Chinese just standing around at the maze, 1/0 sauna is more pleasant and more room for enjoyable sauna fun. However, note that for Mainland Chinese Bangkok still seems to be the number 1 spot for gay travel. Be prepared that the majority make up of visitors will come from that region.

 

When I left shortly after midnight, there were still plenty of guys at the entrance waiting to clear the reception area and get their locker number.

 

I surely would visit again on the next trip.

 

TWO important items: Currently, they only take cash for entry and at the bar! Bring sufficient cash with you. Second: the place has theme nights, check before you enter what theme they have on that day, it might not suit you eventually (because they have some kinky (fetish) event nights).
