Well... if you are in BKK with your family, you are somewhat handicapped.  Maybe not "terribly".  But what I meant is that on the internet you can find plenty of information if you just google things like "gay bangkok", "gay saunas bangkok".  Good sites to get info about gay BKK are:

 

travelgayasia.com  and utopia-asia.com

 

The 'travelgayasia' is the best.  They both have maps that show you the location of the different sites.

 

I have given plenty of information about saunas, but I don't know anything about pubs or shows.  I wish I could help you.

You can go to Ben Ten massage on Silom Soi 6, they specialise in balls massage. But be warned, it is a place for str8 men, i.e. they only have massage girls. I tried once, it was ok but not that great really. Will not do it again. But try for yourself....

i've been to the rooftop bars at Muse Hotel in Langsuan and the one at Mode Sathorn.  

Muse has nice ambience and music but surrounded by other tall buildings around it.  Mode has nicer unblocked views.

For Farose II they have just one comment:

“Enormous mansion. Hundreds of guys after 10 pm. Correct that cleanliness is not a priority. Very few farangs. Go there at least once. Mostly Thai – Thai.”

What intrigues me is the "hundreds of guys after 10 pm", and "go there at least once".
