Before Huang Ding gained its very gay reputation it was a male/female facility. I wish the owner of Chuan Tang at the bottom of the hill would go back to being gay friendly. I remember the evening of one Gay Pride Parade day (4 or 5 years ago) when there were so many guys in the large main pool that you could not see any water! The queue to get inside and a locker was 50 minutes! But it has all changed now and has become extremely boring - although my last visit there was about 9 months ago. Or they will not continue with the extra if they won't like you. Is this true for most of your experiences? My main concern is - I am a no good looking lad, and I am fat (LOL). It's a smallish sauna. Entrance is NT$350 and you pay at the desk at the top of the entrance stairs. You receive a large towel and locker key. Everyone wears towels except in the shower area and dark room. It does not have naked times. From the lockers you walk through the the open shower area which also has a warmish lounge pool and a sauna and a very dark dark-room leading off it. There is usually a lot going on in the dark room, but be aware that some guys don't bother with condoms. Also on this level is a small room for coffee and a larger relaxing television room with proper lounge chairs which reline and duvets. Upstairs is a series of private cabins with easy-to-clean mattresses and duvets, although I am not sure how clean the duvets really are! There is also a dark maze and a small video viewing area showing western porn. Above that is an open-air terrace. Hans tends to attract mostly older Taiwanese and chubs. Not many westerners.
