A regime would be like that of kim jong il, or closer to home, the LEEgime... Did you mean 'regimen'?In brief, the three words share the same roots, but 'regiment' is often used more exclusively in military contexts. 'Regime', while can refer to systems of governance, is defined medically as a systematic plan for therapy and has an accepted use, and synonymous, with 'regimen'. snowball
bed early to have enough sleep will do. Collagen Breakdown – Early stages of collagen loss due to aging make bloated bags sag and look bigger.Lifestyle – Lifestyle can affect your skin’s appearance negatively. If you consume large amounts of salt or skip sleep, you will notice the bags increase under your eyes.Allergies and Skin Conditions – Eye bags may form due to severe sinusitis or dust, dirt and food allergies. Repeated inflammation may cause the eyes area to droop. To make “eye bags disappear”–or to prevent under eye bags–use the following remedies and treatments:When you wake up with bags, gently massage the inner corners of the eye to distribute fluid and increase lymphatic flow.Increase your water intake. Puffy eyes may be a result of dehydration. After a night of alcohol drinking, partying, or consuming salty food beat under eye swelling with a few 8 oz. glasses of water.Pump up under eye skin with a cream containing retinol. This fluid-reducing agent stimulates fibroblasts that produce more collagen.Swipe a generous dollop of aloe vera gel on your eyes. Aloe vera is an anti-inflammatory agent that soothes puffy and irritated eyes.Thin, fragile under-eye skin is more vulnerable to damage, so it ages faster than other areas on the face. Choose a sunscreen fortified with vitamin C and antioxidants to protect the under eye area.Combat collagen loss with a peptide eye cream. Peptides trick cells into producing more collage, which tightens skin. Think of the peptide cream as a girdle or spanx for the under eye area. Here’s a favorite eye bags treatment. Make eye bags disappear with cucumber. Cut two thin slices of cucumber. Place this cool treatment on the eyes to reduce swelling. http://beautybargainista.com/blog/eye-bags-disappear/ Edited September 4, 2011 by snowball

mamemo
Even if you used products to lighten or cure the eye bags, it is still not enough. You still need to have enough sleep. preferably before 12. A healthy diet with more fruits and vegetables.I know of this from my mom whose occupation is a Beautician. i still have dark eye circles but i am not complaining.I brought is upon myself as i don't sleep early. But my favorite are fruits and veggies though. Prevention is better then cure. Even you can have cured it via whatever means, but if you don't maintain it. Its coming back! GachiMuchi
Go to Polyclinic and see a doctor and ask the doctor to refer you to Singapore Skin Centre. (it will be cheaper this way)The SSC sees many people with skin problems and will determine if you are just suffering from dry skin or Eczema.Your body acne could be due to many reasons, so just go see the doctor at SSC. TheVisitors
The appearance and problems of eye bags and dark eye rings, are largely related to internal factors. One, the genetic structure of your facial skull. Two, the internal coordination betwee the digestive, kidney and large intestine system, factor due to the flow of the Qi in the meridian system,as from the TCM viewpoint ( Tradiional Chinese Medicine). The structure of your facial skull is genetic. The structure as such , is responsible for the fluid drainage system around your nasal areaYour skin merely covers this structure. Thus how it folds and stretches roughly outline the internal bone structure. Thus you maybe in your 20s but you have deep frown lines or laughing lines, making you age before your time. They are not wrinkles , but the folds of your skin following your bone structure. When you have a bone structure have a poor drainage around the nasal area, this leads to sinus, ( undrained fluid retained) , this fluid stagnation will result and wil be reflected in darkeye rings. Eye bags are merely extra skin around the eye area that allow this fluid to be retained.Asians tend to have such bone structure, thus there is a high tendency to have sinus, nasal sensivity to pollen, dust, and microscopc particules in the air. Such people are also extra sensitive to the temperature changes in the air, that is why a slight chill in the air, they sneeze and to be subjected to cold easily. They are also affeced by the air humidity of a place, room or climateIn homeopathy, such ailments can be much relieved, but not corrected entirely, by taking high dosage of garlic oil and zinc for a prolonged period, before it can be alleviated.Alternatively if it persists and becomes more severe sinus , it can be treated by the Western method, but inserting frozen mercury deep into both the nasal. However, this is not a permanent treatment, as the situaton usually resurfaces 3 to 4 years later. However, during this period, eyebagsand dark eye rings are very much relieved.According to TCM, we have 20 major meridian lines running fom head to toe, along with our nerves, which carries the flow of Qi or the life force in our body. In addition, there are 360 sub meridian lines, 6000 over micro meridians and 400 over acupuncture points .The Qi is again divided into the Ying and Yang, each co-related with the bringing the life force to each respective organs and muscle group, for them to function optimunly. When the flow of Qiid blocked, the organs will be affected.Vice versa, when an organ is injured,, blocked by toxins, or poisoned, the flowof Qi is also affeced. Thus if there a the flowage blockage in your body Qi , or imbalance of the Ying Yang hot and cold, it can be shown on your face. Thus you dark rings and bags are outer manifestation of your internal organs.Your kidneys, your big intestines and your digestive system , are part of your body detoxing system.Your kidneys regulates the amount of your body needs, expels toxins. Your large intestine expels your faeces. Should there is a shortage of fluid in your body , the large ntestine, especially the colon, reabsorb fluid from the faeces back into the system, before being expelled. There is a meridian line that link between your kidneys and your colon. When the kidneys become too stressed, overworked, overloaded with toxins, too heaty, too cold and fluid intake is inconsistently, the kidneys will be slowly weakned, becomes suggluish, and slows down its function of purging excess water from the system. This is why you suffer from water retention unknowingly. The colon "listens" to the kidneys. When it thinks there is sufficient water in the system, it does not reabsorb the water from the faeces. When the two organs are weakened, you will tend to feel bloatness, and discomfort from unable to purge out the water. The first sign that your body signals to you that your weak kidney, is by retaining the excess water under your eyebags. The dark rings under your eyes signals to you that your colon is very weak, and it can be easily irritable.People will dark rings, tend to have irregular bowel movements or irritable bowel syndrome. Thus if you have both eye bags and dark eye rings, both your organs are weak, and you may want to seek medical professionals to address your situation, if you feel they are interfere you from having an optimun healthy lifestyleWeak kidney affects one's sex drive When your kidneys are weaked, so will be our sex organ. They are linked by another meridien lineI am not a medical profession. I based my source from a relative, who is a Doctor graduated from the Beijing TCM University.Plus my own personal readings from The Yellow Emperor's Book of Classic Medicine. Guest Vainpot
Thanks Gachi for replying but I think I was misunderstoodthe dry skin comes only if I use overly strong anti-bacterial soaps (e.g. Dettol, Lifebuoy)[also heard from my family doctor that overusing brands like Dettol is detrimental to overall skincare. He said that the concentration of the anti-bacterial components are way too high, if used over a prolonged period, dry-chapped skins like what I've experience is expected]My skin remains perfectly fine (other than for the acne) if I use normal soaps with no anti-bacterial properties As for the advice for doctor's consultationwell that is good advicebut what I'm actually trying to do is to find a good soap for use in NSI'm enlisting soon. And I've heard from my friends that they are prone to more skin infections like Miliaria, body acne etc. I would like to find a soap which can help minimize such infections. Thanks all again for your help

Nudi
Try traditional treatment-aleo Vera with turmeric. Aloe Vera u can buy as a whole leaf from ntuc. Cut a palm lengh and split. Press and rub and massage aleo vera meat onto skin with turmeric powder. Leave for half hour- then wash thoroughly. Be careful because turmeric stains towels and bed sheets. Aloe Vera is moisturizer and tumeric is anti- bacterial. And v cheap too. Cost less than a dollar each time- and works wonder on me. Can share ur experience afterwards. Better still get a buddy to do it for or with u.
Guest massagee
Frankly speaking everyone has different facial texture. Hence, quite diff to pin point which suits you. If you have dry skin then you should go for non foam cleanser because those with foam contains more surfactants that may cause your skin even drier.
