It was a day procedure - I made an appointment, turned up, got cut, got bandaged up, got in a cab and went home. Family is none the wiser. Time wise, like I mentioned, it only takes a couple of hours, max. And one can get it done on a weekend. Despite what many stories say about how one is put out of action after getting cut, I disagree. I was up and walking about on the day I got cut. I only walked slightly bow-legged and slower that's all but one can attribute that to an inner thigh abrasion I guess. About money, there is nothing much I can suggest except saving up for it. My circumcision at a private clinic in Gleneagles cost $600. Assuming one saves $50 a month, all that takes is one year of saving!I think the biggest obstacle of getting cut is the act itself. People are afraid of getting knives or lasers near their penises and that is completely understandable. I guess they just have to take a leap of faith and simply get the operation done. Whether one regrets being cut afterwards (like me), one just has to deal with the consequences I guess.Personally, I think I would have been happy with an easily retractable foreskin. While being cut certainly has its pros - my penis looks nicer, smells better, and is cleaner, the loss of sensitivity is really a huge con. =/A lot of good points there - I'm sorry you feel you have a loss of sensitivity. I would compare it to the sensitivity of your tongue vs. the sensitivity of your finger tip. Yes, perhaps it will prolong the act, but are you really enjoying it? I m ok with it....Just that I cannot feel the exact feeling like those men who have not done it....I m not sure why pp are surprised I m circumcised.... darkflame Posted September 13, 2015 Report Share Posted September 13, 2015 As I have been influenced to keep the head clean at all times since I do go for onsen sometimes, I have been keeping the head exposed by using the tucking method.The glans do not really lose much in sensitivity as I have done this for a year already.Perhaps slightly desensitised but it's quite positive because it is not as sensitive as some guys who don't retract the foreskin.(Some guys really jolt their bodies when you touch their sensitive heads.) If you're wondering if I'm sensitive because I had problems with retracting my foreskin, no. My foreskin was fine and fully functional. The doctor even went to the extend of draw on my penis the area where he will cut and help to tape my foreskin down. I requested that he do not trim too much and leave enough foreskin so that the bottom half of my dick head will be covered. I made the appointment for the procedure to be done 2 weeks later. I had my foreskin taped down during that period of time so that I know how it feels like. I decided the day before my procedure that I willnot go ahead with the circumcision. Luckily you did not proceed because having that kind of cut iis as good as not cutting. Having part of the head covered will still risk of having "cheese" formed underneath your skin. Because I had sex both before and after circumcision, I can tell that the sensitivity before circumcision is much better, especially the gliding motion that the foreskin makes during penetration. Yes, for a while just after I was circumcised, the sex was better because the scar and glans were both sensitive. Some of it might relate to a bad circumcision but in the stupid conclusions it comes to it makes little mention of the common factor of the natural lubricating precum in both the cut n uncut penis as well as in the vagina. I assumed The Quranic Path refers to the teachings of the Prophet. Muslims r circumcised. How then does it trash the practice? Look at another page - Circumcision: does the Qur'an approve it? - n it says this - The proponents of circumcision say there are reasons such as hygiene and other benefits behind them doing this. While I want to see a doctor to discuss possible options about fixing these issues. Can anyone recommend a good doctor? Or would going to the nearby polyclinic be enough? Also, if anyone has the relevant experience, is loosening the foreskin an outpatient procedure, or will a hospital stay be required? For the record, I've tried foreskin stretching.
