Singapore Swimming Complex/Pool

The weather is temperamental last week! Sunny & scorching with clearly sunshine in the morning but became cloudy in the late morning/ early afternoon.
Intend to do laps and follow by tanning in the late morning/ or afternoon, but to no avail due to weather conditions. 😅

Weather is too hot to just lay down there for tanning. I get my tan from swimming. That explain the ‘penguin’ like colour (dark at the back, white in front) 😂🤣

Another reason why swimmers may be avoiding the pools is because of the increase of weird creeps

Seriously swimmers will swim regardless of creep or not. 
Public pools these days are quite calm on weekdays. The gay men are flocking to Safra pools. Let the chaos happen there. Hahaha.
Without swimming lessons for kids and adults, public pools are rather peaceful.

@justin1982 Well yes our weather changes in split seconds. had on numerous time ponder to swim or not in the blazing sun, only to be whistle out due to thundery rain thereafter when i decided to swim. 

 

@Thatwasawes @bluerunner True to both. swimmers disappeared due to being stalk and stalker disappeared cause swimmers are gone 🤪. Of cause there a diehard swimmers like blue (and myself). Stalk all you want, still getting our swim. 

 

As for Safra pools, thankfully not all are affected so far. Probably more within the gyms.

 

And for heaven sake, please take your activities to somewhere more private after your hookup. Already most lifeguards are aware and closing both eyes, starting to get lots of feedback from others concern for their kids. Proofing the nature of things are now more or less an open secret. So to take the risk or not is your call.

Hi I’ll be visiting Singapore next month and I love swimming in my thongs. Are there pools here that allow swimmers wear thongs to swim or suntan? I also wear white speedos in places that don’t allow thongs. Where’s a cruisy pool to meet other gay swimmers?

Not so many people at the pool. Probably it’s due to the long weekend, where people go oversea m. However, I am surprised to see there are 3-4 sun bathers at the end of the pool. It has really been a while since I saw this number of sun bathers.

Another hot day for swim. Pool is less crowded today. Prolly, it is because of the public holiday. Not complaining.

Just Finished my swim at Katong. No crowd today. 
Saw another swimmer, who was earlier swimming 2 lanes away from, at the shower room. 
Freeballing after shower and clean shaven. 
It is good to see man is grooming himself.

Wonder what the occasion today? Pools packed. We came in about the same time, one after the other. Usually you would finished off first but surprised to see you today when I was in the shower.
The left hook worm was bouncing off the dry land as he wiped. The jaws lay in front wondering if he should pound at it 🤭 . Such temptation 😇 

Lucky day to be right up front. Great swim, Great view. Such good day today. 😜

oh but they are not kids but adults. 😅 perhaps the hotter weather and perhaps they know the bus load of students are on holidays. i go day time so mostly the laps area are empty or just a few with the students occupying the other lower depth pool. just on Tues the small shower area was packed and seeing guys coming in and made U-turn to go back out and wait.

hope u are referring to the safra Toa Payoh? The public pool had been demolished long ago and only now than they starting to pile the earth so be prepared for lots of noise pollution

Now with safra energyone toa payoh reopened, and since all the hotties go there to swim/suntan, the other pools that I frequent seem to have much lesser creeps (young and old). Looks like the despo annoying people have flocked there for the hotties 🤣 no unwarranted stares, no cruisers camping in the shower/toilet areas, no ugly people to see. Just peaceful, good swim!

 

Hoping for the fit swimmers to come back swimming at my regular pools again 😍

but!! honourable mention wld be the jurong east swimming complex, the ine w many slides and the lazy river. many memories as a kid gg to tht one despite hving to travel close to 1hr
