Went swimming at KB yesterday and wanted to try swimming with gx3 sheer trunk but dropped the idea cos there are 2 aunties swimming and life guards on both sides of the pool.

At Katong pool, they have women lifeguards now.

Female lifeguards been common for a few years. Qtwn, Delta (they have at least 2 if I not wrong). Even Yishun safra (1 indian lady). And KB pool their life guards more on the balls as only one pool so they constantly on the lookout.

Date: 1 Aug

I Was at the pool this afternoon for a quick swim. It was an extremely hot day. I was hoping for a cool water under the scorching sun. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The tiles at the pool deck were burning hot to step on w bare feet and even the water felt lukewarm. 
Perhaps that’s why there were not many people in the water. Even the lifeguards were covering their faces. Really fully wrapped from head to toe. 
After swim, I thought I could have a good shower. Guess what? I did not bring my shower kit! Luckily, I brought my towel. 🤭

Good enough to have a quick shower and left the pool soon after that.

@bluerunner luckily you didn't ask your neighbor cubicles for shower foam. 😂 Been approached before not once but twice from the same nincompoop 😆 for shower foam. Offered him the first round but eventually realised he does that at every visits. So the 2nd time he asked. I blankly looked at his nakedness and say 'Sorry, don't have.' than continue foaming myself 🤪

Yes. Indoor Pool closed area with indoor white light. Likely made temperature similar to olympic standard.

Saturday ranting:

Some people really lack of basic manners or common sense or maybe he has this fuck-up behaviour. I tell you why.

When I need to apply sunblock from a spray canister, I will make sure there is no nearby. But this afternoon, this moron was standing next to me (who has just finished my shower), and he took out his sunblock and started spraying in every direction. No excuse me, nothing. It is as if he is so eager to share his sunblock w everyone around him. 

What would be your reaction?

A. Simply bo chap la. Continue w your thing
B. Move away quietly 

C. Tell that moron off. 
D. Others (let me know what it is)

Female lifeguard will be more strict with the attire of male swimmers. Female swimwear can be spicier than male swimwear in general. In Singapore pool context, male or female, I don’t believe you can wear anything spicy. 
Let’s not discuss about female swimwear here. Being shy not withstanding, if you wear a swimwear not conforming to the poster on the notice board, I am pretty sure the female lifeguard will notice you and most likely she will report you to her male colleague who is going to issue you a verbal warning. 
Proof? I have witnessed a regular at the pool who wears a high cut swimwear. No issue w make lifeguard. Just that day, female lifeguard on duty, then 5min later, a male lifeguard went to talk to that man.

Date: 9 August 2025. 
It’s a public holiday and I thought I came enjoy my long awaited swim at local pool in peace. 
Reached the pool just after 12pm, and I was shocked to see why the pool has so many Caucasian?! It’s Singapore National Day, not  some ang moh country’s Independence Day! 
They almost filled up the w 3/4 of the big pool. They left their belongings outside the changing room. I saw some land yards w official badge from World Swimming Aquatics. I reckon they could be from the Masters swimming that’s going on at the WSC pool now. 
I must admit there are some very hot bodies and handsome looking ones among them.
