Mild itchiness could be due to jock itch (when one tend to sweat a lot around that private part, then fungus can emerge from there), or friction between skins, or your underwear is too tight for your balls. It is hard to tell if you have STD not until you go through a blood test. I believe your Urologist has asked all kind of question in regards to the symptoms in relating to the disease. When he said not to worry, means not to worry. Just give yourself a week or two, if you starting to have other symptoms like rashes or discharge from your penis or burning sensation during urinating, then you should go back to your urologist.
