Could be the reason why Shogun was forced to shift? Things are getting damn expenisve these days. Movie tickets cost $5 five years ago and now $9.50! ERP always on the rise. GST increased to 7%, and may eventually be 10%. Cab fare increasing to $2.80. Coca cola 0.5L bottle at 7 eleven now sells at unbeliveable price of $1.70. Why is my pay and bonuses not increasing proportionately?? What the hell.... Got to do some budgeting. Personally, and also recommend ALL to grab a few of the $45 pass, in case the pass is no longer issued for whatever reasons.

I think I shall give it a miss- the very thought of witnessing such a event would make me throw up.A more ingenious way of pulling in customers would be changing the location for The One event. Instead of helding it at the Art Room everytime, maybe the location would be kept secret until the last minute. And then the event (which I heard is successful) could be held in the steam room for instance one week. And then change to the tv viewing room on other week. This would stimulate the interest and curiousity for the participants surely. Anyway, I think the excellent steam room is woefully underused. And one of the big reason is that it's just too damn cold to step out of the steam room into the full blazed aircon blowing at you. So very few people want to go there.

cHubcHubcHub Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 was @ shogun last nite and the crowd turnout was huge as usual...i saw the staffs busy asking the patrons to take part in the 'Big Belly' competition and so i volunteered, since it's free...heeheethought that it was an ezy task but i was wrong when it was my turn...nevertheless, every1 was having great fun and thou' some of the contestants seem quite shy, most of them were sporting...and i salute to the big winner whom managed to gulp down his noodles in time... :clap: apart from the winner, the boss is generous enuff' to compliment the rest with free passess ranging from 1D to 3D too...so sweet after that, many people were still around especially @ the cottage and you can say that i had quite a sleepless nite thru' out...heehee
