Anal sex can be both safe and pleasurable. The key is to select the right condom and lube. Because the anus is not capable of self-lubrication, the choice of lube is crucial. Both water and silicone-based lubes make great options, but never mix oil-based lubes with latex condoms. Check out our article How to Grease Your Tool? Useful Tips on Choosing the Right Lube. Have fun, and be safe.  ^_^

Polyurethane condoms FTW.

IMG_0204.thumb.PNG.9d7742e941db7559a3f4745297efc7a1.PNG

Yes, many people believe that they tear more easily, but that seems anecdotal rather than based on actual statistics.

(And for the scientists and academics out there, yes I'm well aware that citing one old study is a far cry from doing a proper literature review and meta-analysis, but it's a step up from citing a friend's unplanned pregnancy.)

Other than the relative thinness, comfort, and heat conductivity of polyurethane condoms (versus latex), it should also be noted that they can actually be used with oil-based lubricants (unlike latex which can only be used with water or silicone-based lubricants). And the advantage of this is as follows: If you happen not to have on hand or have run out of any water- or silicone-based lubricant (e.g. KY jelly, Astroglide, etc), you're much more likely to be able to find in your home or toiletry kit an oil-based substitute rather than a suitable water- or silicone-based substitute. Many personal care products like moisturizers or soap are essentially petroleum (oil) based. And even cooking oil or vegetable shortening (Crisco anyone? lol) can work in a pinch, when the fever of the moment carries you away.

IMO the most commonly available type of condom – latex prelubricated with nonoxynol-9 spermicide – is the least desirable option. If you're spending money on latex, at least try out the non-lubricated type and invest in your own lube.

Wow.. now you can have a taste of local delicacies ..will you try it like those fruit-flavoured ones?

Of condoms, durians and nasi lemak

CEO of the world's biggest condom maker says nasi lemak-flavoured products are next on the list after durian-flavoured ones.

PETALING JAYA: Goh Miah Kiat is the CEO of the world’s biggest condom-maker which churned out approximately 15% of the world market last year, but despite his international success, Malaysian interests still play a big role in his business.  One has only to look at Karex’s research and development branch to see the distinctly local twist he puts into his products.

Durian-flavoured condoms have been around for a while, but Goh has no plans to stop at the king of fruits. “The next thing I am trying to work out is a nasi lemak-flavoured condom.

“In Malaysia, the first thing we wake up in the morning, we talk about our nasi lemak. So I suppose it is something that will unite us all,” he said in a recent interview with Channel NewsAsia.

Other unusual designs include glow-in-the-dark condoms, tattoo-inspired textured ones and condoms with studs, which he said are one of Karex’s best-sellers.

Goh’s multi-million dollar business started off as a rubber-processing factory run by his family. During the 1980s global commodity crash, though, the business began to flounder.  That was when they decided to go into condom-making.  Although the first few years were not easy – the family nearly went bust, owing over a year’s worth of rental – Karex gradually turned around.

In 1999, when Goh joined the business after graduating from the University of Sydney, Karex recorded some RM7 million in sales.  Sixteen years later, it had grown to RM350 million. Now, it is known as a contract manufacturer for best-known brands like Durex.

Although the company also makes catheters, ultrasound probe covers and lubricating jelly, condoms are by far its largest offering, comprising 93% of its revenue according to Forbes.

Last year, Karex churned out about five billion condoms. One in every five condoms in the world comes out of its factories in Malaysia and Thailand, CNA added.  Goh said he expected the demand for condoms to continue rising.  Pointing out that half of the world’s population was under 25 years of age, he told CNA that there would be “a lot more people who will be sexually active”.

See your cock size if big then u think thicker :)

No, I don't think you need a thicker condom just because your willy is large.

But, it is very important to buy a larger size condom if you are well hung, and a snug fit one if you are small.

A major cause of condom tearing is condom too small/ not enough lube.

A major cause of condom slipping off is condom too large.

So there is the usual brands of condoms you get at the pharmacies and supermarkets right, like Durex, Okamoto and the like.

Are there more exciting brands of condoms, and where do you get them?

e.g. those featured in that online article above.

Hm, and anybody knows where to get female condoms? It sounds interesting to try. The top does not need to put on one and instead the bottom stuffs it into his hole.
