#1 Heart Skips A Beat Feat. Rizzle Kicks - Olly Murs

Let's see if Olly Murs could retain the crown,

and notch up his 2nd number 1 following the success of his

.

Yes, Olly Murs of X-Factor fame landed himself a second Number One single in just inside a year,

following Please Don't Let Me Go which topped the charts exactly 50 weeks ago!

Now which of the 2 tracks do you prefer?

steppenw: The running man! It was all the rage in my teens. Used to dance like that in a group and I can still do it now. Hahah!

I know Kylie is Aussie but she is uber popular in UK and used to be all over Smash Hits magazine. Two songs from her excellent and under-appreciated eponymous 5th album. The last Ms Minogue album I bought was Light Years.

The running man?

You mean the guy in the video for Something Good?

You lost me there for a while, a long while actually! LOL

Actually I prefer their debut single, What Can You Do For Me better

it samples Eurythmics' There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart),

Gwen Guthrie's "Ain't Nothin' Goin' on But the Rent" and KISS' Alive II album.

And here's their 3rd single Believe in Me,

sampling The Human League's Love Action (I Believe in Love),

Crown Heights Affair's You Gave Me Love,

and Sylvester's Do Ya Wanna Funk?

I just watched this on X-Factor.

The group has talent, definitely, but it's the yummy buffed-up guy in white on the far right that gets me goiiiiiing, lol.

The one audition that truly impressed me, though, is that of

's.

Alright, I'm gonna cheat a little here,

as the following acts are not totally from the UK (except Sophie Ellis-Bextor),

but both songs were massive, reaching #1 in the UK in 2000. Njoi

Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) - Spiller Feat. Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Lady (Hear Me Tonight) - Modjo

Question: Is Cathy Dennis British?

I know Seal is British right? AKA Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel (born 19 February 1963 in Paddington, London,England). He's awesome too back in his heydays! Though these days he ain't producing much good stuff.

Here are my faves Prayer For The Dying and Newborn Friend.

Sheena Easton has a very distinctive voice instantly recognisable on the radio.

My favourite song by her is 'Almost over you'. Another favourite is 'For your eyes only' - the James Bond theme song.

Almost Over You is my favourite song by Sheena Easton too.

In HKG, Strut is more popularly known as Bad Girl in its Cantonese version,

covered by the late Anita Mui...
