YMZ - I have only been there a couple of times. I think it may be possible to have some fun there but not to the extent of Perthden which is more of a sex den. I am unable to recommend any masseur due to lack of experience with this place. There are photos of masseurs in the foot massage hall. You may want to check that out. I think this place has a fair number of PLU clients so the masseurs should be PLU friendly.

Chinese style massage 中式按摩 and Japanese style massage 日式按摩

For info of newbies to massage places in SZ, please note that you will always be asked whether you want Chinese style or Japanese style massage. Chinese style massage is massage without oil while Japanese style is with oil. For most shops, once the masseur confirmed and register your massage style with the front desk, they are normally not allowed to change it. So if you have opt for Chinese style, they will not use oil during the session, otherwise, the masseur may be fined or penalised by the shop if they are caught. The charges are normally different with Japanese style charging more. So if your masseur refuse to use oil during the massage, it could be that you have opt for Chinese style massage.

For those not familiar with exchange rates, please remember that the RMB is worth more than the HK$. When tip, try to tip in RMB.

I finally visited ymz yesterday evening. Taking its shuttle car from luohu, alight in ymz around 6.30pm. The place looks smaller than youyi.

There are photo displayed in foot lounge area, however only males masseurs photo displayed. Choose an average looking yet the most meaty from the pic.

I was escorted to the massage room because I don't want to do foot massage. The masseur appear shortly. Look not meaty at all, can say average built.

During the session, the massage is very good. Strong massage. Nothing happen for the 2hrs massage. But it is ok as the whole session is enjoyable, with good conversation with the masseur.

The price is cheaper here, only 79rmb for 2hrs massage. Tip him 100rmb.

Heard from the attendant, the body scrubber in ymz is a meaty 30+ masseur. No chance to try him yet as he was scrubbing another client when I was having my shower.

In the xjmz, any masseurs that you can can recommend which is meaty and about middle age with good attitude? Attitude is important. I have experienced in few massage shops where during the whole session, the masseurs talking about tip and tip to hint out that they expect more tip. I don't like to hear about it.

With new clients, I think many masseurs will talk about tips. I find it very irritating too. At XJMZ, 30+ is about the most middle age you can get. One who may be closer or more than 40 could be 919. I think his attitude is pretty good too. 909 is mildly chub 30+ with, good massage skills but very popular and hard to book. The others that you may want to try are 916 and 968 but they have their moods. 987 is a tall 30 almost chub.

while at XJMZ, try the body scrub too by the famous Mui sifu. He is tall, stocky and early 50s. Good scrubing skills. I have been receiving good reports from those who had ... I mean tried him lately.

You will also find meaty mature Chinese medical masseurs there. Personally, I don't think their massage skills are good but you may find them better looking than the masseurs I recommended above.

I won't be so explicit about whether happy ending are provided but I think many masseurs here will try to make sure you enjoy the session with them .. hoping for better rewards (more tips).

I have no problem with 916 and 968 but have heard from other clients that sometimes their standard fluctuate. 916's massage is much stronger than 968 so if you prefer not to be tortured, 968 may be more suitable, but if you like hard presses, then try 916. 916 is a chub while 968 is cubby.

919 is a little more to the stocky end. I find his massage a little painful, not from the strength but from the points that he was pressing. Apparently, he is a trained Chinese Medical masseur so he concentrate on accupressure points. I prefer strength without the pain. However, some HK websites have commented that his skills are good, so maybe it is just my preference.

Well, if you have time to visit this place more than once, recommend that you try as many masseurs as you can to experience for yourself. You may just be surprised by the different type of skills (I am referring to massage lah - I know you will ask) offered by the meaty masseurs here. Hope you can make them happy (I am referring to tips lah) with your visit too

after reading your postings, went to rt of lowu stn and use abt half dozen suanas with free transport. for their medical masseurs.

actually, cannot recall their nrs, and no one in particular stand out. but only remembered mui sifu body scrub service.

more than half of the masseurs will talk about generous clients that they have served.

Yes, they are open over CNY (365 days a year). However, quite a few of the masseurs may be taking turns going on home leave so you may have limited choice. If you prefer to choose your masseur from the computer, ask the attendant to show you "All Male" masseur photos. The list will include those who are not on leave but who may not be on duty at the hour of your visit. You will have more to choose from then.

Lately weather has fluctuate between 10 to 20+ degree. Can be cold in the open especially when the wind blow at night. Nevertheless, day time, I have seen young strong men in t-shirts and shorts. This type of weather should remain till end of year. It may get colder over CNY.

No need to apologise for being clueless but you should apologise for not reading the earlier posts on this thread because your answers are all there.

OK, just not to bore the other readers, I'll summarise. There is a computer in the foot massage lounge with photos of all the masseurs. You may choose from there. Normally, you will be shown only masseurs who are on duty but not book (reserve) or taken by other clients. To see a longer list, ask to see "all masseurs" so you will also see masseurs who are not on duty. If you are doing a 3 hour massage, many of these masseurs will be willing to return to duty. Many live nearby so would be able to return within 15 minutes. "All masseurs" will include the lady masseurs. You can also ask for all MALE masseurs to view a more focus list.

The attendants are use to clients asking for same sex masseur so don't feel "shy" about it. Whether they think you are gay or not, really should not bother you unless you are a celebrity? OK, maybe it is just me being thick skin (haha) but seriously, it is more a mental hurdle within yourself I think. I cannot guarantee that many male masseur will offer sensual massage. Some don't in fact. So you are right, it is a hit and miss process. Read above posts for some recommendations.

Hope your experience will not be over-bearing and that your curiousity will overcome all hesitation, and OK lah, I will entertain further questions lah.

Perthden is the name of the hotel but it is NOT in the same building as XJMZ. In fact, it is about 5 minutes walk away. The building that houses XJMZ does not have a hotel. I do not know how are the rooms in Perthden as I have not stayed there before. Could anyone reading this post advise? I believe some BWer lived there before.

If you want to save some money, you could stay at XJMZ. With 3 hours massage (weekday) and 4 hours massage (weekend) , you can stay there FOC.

Just got back to my hotel from XJMZ. Thanks so much fortysumthing, I had a great time!

Let me start off by saying that I might speak 4 words of Chinese. So my adventure begins:

I took the train to Louhu and went to the car park C16 got into the van and was there in no time. Had a difficult time explaining only wanted male masseurs, and the guy working the computer had a hard time navigating. But after some help form a woman drinking beer in the cafe I got everything worked out. I did not arrive until about 9:30 so the available selection was slim and I was told the guys I picked were currently booked and it could be 2 hrs before they were available. So i scanned the foot massage room and saw a very cute cub finishing up a foot massage so I requested him. #967 he gave a great foot, leg and upper leg rub, almost too good : ) While he was doing the message another cub came over and was talking to him. Because I have read many of your post and assumed that trying to book #967 for full body would be difficult, and because getting this far was a little bit of a drama with my limited Chinese I got his number and requested him. #999. Let me just say that he hit all the right pressure points. LOL

All in all I had a great time, Much leaner that I thought it would be. I have been many times to the 678 spa by my hotel in Futian and payed 4 times more and have to say that the massage was so much better here. I look forward to going back and trying #967 for full body.

Any other places you could suggest near Futian? Or other easy to find spas that have some english speaking staff would be greatly appreciated.

tahnk you for sharing your experience. I have reviewed 999 before. See my post #424 (page 9) above. I believe your experience is similar? Hope he did not go"overboard" with you. I have heard of him "pinching" other masseurs clients when they are massaging their foot. Some of the masseurs have complained about him. But it is really the client's decision. You could actually book the foot masseur for body massage after the foot session. There is no restriction.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with Futian's shops.

There are other shops in Luohu area which I have reviewed in my posts above. But I think for many, if not most, the Engllish will be pretty limited as well. But I am sure you will get what you want finally You may want to ask the client next to you whether they could help you out in translation; so choose your seat next to a cute cubby client, haha.

I understand that some of them do provide proper massage but I think their main intent is the provision of "other" services. I have not tried them myself so can't share any experience with you. I don't think any of the above have shuttle bus from the car park. Call them when in SZ to find out how to get there. If necessary, pass your Iphone to the cab driver and let him take instructions from the shop on how to get there.

In XJMZ, there are male "beauticians" who are fit and slim looking and who can provide body massage and facial treatment. They can also provide "spa" treatment. I have not tried any of them but from what I heard from some BW, their services are not bad. They however will not do foot massage (the same hands doing foot will not do your face - but they will do your head strangely - haha). For foot massage, you need to use a foot massage masseur, and some of them are slim and fit too.

Not sure why you wrote "random shuttle bus". Each shop have their own shuttle bus so better know which bus is for which shop before hopping on. There is a light box with a list of the shops and their car park number.

I come across this place 嘉宝休闲中心 (Jiabao Spa and Health Centre) from the website and seems that there are a lot of bear TCM masseurs there shown in the website. The Centre is actually right at the exit of the Shenzhen Railway Station at Lowu. Once out of the station the shop entrance is on the right if you walk towards where a lot of the spa centres' free van transport are parked.

When I went in, the Hostess there tried to lead me to the very exotically decorated/shower attached massage rooms and tried to get me to have massage. Until, of course, I asked for a male masseur. Immediately her interest waned and asked one of the other attendants to show me to the male shower room and told me that there will be another captain to take care of my needs. So, off I went with a heavy heart as I thought it was not a very good start for me venturing first time to this place.

Once there, I was attended by the usual half sleepy male attendants looming in the changing room. Once undressed, I went for my shower and my steam room. No actions there even though there was a mature looking naked man (slight chub) in the steam room. But he seems straight as he took no interest in me and actually crossed his leg so tightly just to hide his asset. I wondered if his brother has to be sent for CPR. Anyway, he left not long after I went in.

So, I went out to the waiting room after drying up and dressing up. The captain came and told me that to have a TCM massage by a male masseur for 2 hours is RMB138 and if oil is needed another RMB10 is added. An additional RMB10 would allow me another one hour of any one of foot massage/pedicure or ear waxing. Sounds a good deal for 3 hours of bliss. So, I went for my 2 hours oil massage asking for a mature, stocky masseur. This chap is about late 30s, bear and quite smily although I didn't find him extremely attractive but his generous smile more than makes up for it. Massage was great and I usually like strong massage and was consistently rewarded with his strong arm strokes. Really enjoyed it and throughout the massage, I tried to rub my hanging hand on whatever parts of his body happen to be near that hand. I didn't make it very obvious as I wasn't sure if he is one of us. But when he turned me over for the frontal massage, that's when he tried to tease the groin area. And of course the rest, I shall leave you all to your fertile imagination. At the end of it, I gave him a RMB100 tip but I thought it was worth it for the 2 hours of good massage and happy ending. Btw, his number is 708 if you need to know.

Back at the main hall, I had pedicure and I didn't realise I had so much unwanted skin in my entire life. But the guy, a baby-face nice looking chap, was really skilful. Alas, he is happily married and again in his late 30s. I thought he was just 20s. He told me people call him 娃娃面. Nice chap and we strike up a nice conversation talking about his family, his aspirations and the usual comparison of all his different nationality customer attitude. Singaporean seems to score high on graciousness. But I will avoid this part here lest it degenerates into who is better than who etc. He is tagged 809.

Then when I went to wash off, I realised that at the towel area there hang a huge panel of all the TCM masseurs pic. I kicked for myself for missing this when I first went in. Looking at the pic, I really salivate and took a mental note of the number of those I would certainly want to call the next time I go.

The sequeal to this is I tried 711 and 789. 711 is so so in his massage skill and not very strong. However, he obliged with happy ending. It was obvious he didn't like my type but I wasn't offended as I think this is really a 你情我愿 type of reciprocity and should not be forced. 789 on the other hand was obviously very happy to see me when he first entered the room and was extremely courteous and full of smile. His massage skill is even better than 708 as I learnt along the way, he came from Zhejiang and had been a practising TCM masseur charging a paltry RMB30 per hour at the neighbourhood massage centre. Hence he wanted more money in the big city to look after his aging mother. He is not married and is a PLU. Nice chap and keep asking for feedback on the strength as well as where I needed more attention. Scores highly not only on skill but customer service.

A final word, the centre has just been taken over by a new owner and is doing renovation to the few story centre. The renovated room where I had my massage is clean but spartan. Door has a centre corrugated see through glass but I think they deliberately added 2 hooks at the glass top so when you hang your clothes there will be some form of concealment. So do your maths and try hanging your clothes in a way you can cover almost the entire length of the glass.

Not sure if 809 is bad mouthing 香江明珠but he claims that place is not doing well and recently had to stop business for 2 months and therefore there was an exodus of masseurs. So, maybe that accounted for the congregation of so many mature bear TCM masseurs here. So, I hope you all can enjoy while you can at this place in Shenzhen.
