I'm doing a couple of runs in the coming months - ST Run, Puma Night Race and StanChan. My usual route is around Semb and I'm a night runner.

My usual routes:

- Semb-Marsiling (using MRT route)

- Semb-Khatib (doing the whole stretch of Yishun Ring Road)

- Semb-Semb Park-Simpang PCN

- Semb-Woodlands (thru Woodlands Ave 12 then SG Sports Sch)

I'm a slow starter and I tend to rest after a bit but I'm a long-haul runner. On my birthday, I challenged myself and completed a run from Semb to MacRitchie by Upp Thomson.

I'm looking for partners to train for Commando Challenge. Anyone up to it?

Running group can be motivating. It can be, (in my opinion) a loner sport too. Because I usually run alone (ok, with my iPod). Lol.

Reason being, my working timing can be eccentric, thus either I do early morning (still coping with that) or late night run. As I stay in the east, It can be ECP, bedok reservoir or just around my estate. :)

Same thoughts. Difficult to find people able to run at same time and roughly the same pace. Hence, I run alone too.

Sounds interesting

I run 6km x 3 a week plus a moderate speed at 10km once a week as well. Would like to go extra miles but I got flat foot

Sick and tired of my gym running buddy who keeps cancelling our appointments the last 2 months due to some emotional love life problem

And he just did it again

I usually run at night

Agreed, not easy to find someone who can have the similar pace, standard and stamina, although it is still possible to find one lah. Thts y running usually is a one person activity.

Lol...training can be alone or in group...all up to individual availability n location...do remember that is Singapore is a small island well connected by mrt/bus. With circle/downtown line, save up to 15-30mins of time. Within singapore distance measure up to juz 30km. :)

Just a suggestion:

Sports Hub - Tanjong Rhu - Bay East - Marina Barrage - Gardens by the Bay - MBS/Helix Bridge - Singapore Flyer - F1 Pit - Nichol Highway - Sports Hub.

I'm sure there must be shower & locker facilities at the Sports Hub.

Must pay la. Cannot end too late. Otherwise, shower facility closes.

Bedok reservoir also can. Can do 1-2loops or even 3 depends on individual capability. No pressure. Got shower facility there. Should have coin lockers too.

Botanical Garden also can. Should be a nice place to run w the beautiful scenery. Got lockers n shower facility too.

bedok have locker?

I remember i went for the carnival run at bedok reservoir...didnt see any lockers but only open showers. Unless i am TP student (ex TP) used the lockers n shower there. Easier.

Oh really no locker ah? I m not sure. Perhaps someone need to go check it out. No locker then is tough unless u drive there.

Ok i guess. Bored jog alone.

Am planning to start a singles gay non profit running/fitness club. Meet once/twice weekly. Like a motivating each other thingy..being alone sucks! If interested, juz pm me.

Because of loneliness, i stop taking part in marathon/running events...feel unmotivated...

I wish there is a fitness or runner junkie that enjoy socialising like me...

Hey any tips for a teen trying to improve his pace and stamina? Cos I like need to improve before my friends are willing to run with me cos according to them, I super slow :(

Present 2.4km timing is 12 min

Maybe tempo jog might help. 3Rounds slow pace non stop n 3 rounds speed pace non stop...

Wanna join scm but only left 42km. Clock mileage only 23km. 21Km closed.

Next year then will join back marathon.
