powman Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Heading to TW Mid-End October, booked GS Hotel (2 nights) and planning to go Commander D, one of the weekends, hopefully the theme nights I hit are the exciting ones. Realised that in my past trip pre-covid I've been to XL club, Soi and Aniki (before it closed). SOI is definitely the best pick for the sheer size (dark room,cabins,steam room,onsen area) and the variety of people. I met a local in Aniki who said Soi is the one to go and true enough. XL Club was so so on weekdays (expected) but I'd say the people and body types varied, I will probably go back just for the gym itself since I don't know any other. Never tried Hans so I guess time to visit this institution. Will contribute once I'm done. Not sure if I will have the energy but will try out https://www.princespa.net/project01 , shot in the dark but anyone has tried 巴塞 / Barce? The first picture seems quite studio and makes me suspect it could be taken by Timothy but hmm seems too good to be true. The description of 高質感歐爸 (European dad) throws me off too lol. I got this from a friend (credit to John Teoh) who seems to be an expert on everything Taiwan: https://www.cdc.gov.tw/ArrivalQuarantine/index.html?lang=en-US Upon arrival in Taipei airport the immigration people will give you four Rapid Antigen Test kits. On day 0, arrival day you have do a self test and get a negative result in your hotel room before you can go out. Do this every 2 days before you go outside. Popular Post jeong Posted October 27, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2022 (edited) Just returned. putting it in bullet points for easy reading - you get free panbio art kits x4 upon arrival - you’re told to test yourself and monitor your condition, but no one is monitoring you and you don’t have to submit to any authorities your art test results… therefore I left my hotel 10 mins after testing myself negative (it’s not against the law) - visited chance and commander d in xmd, commander d has SM (mainly tying up guys) on both nights I went - chance was chill, bartenders extremely friendly (bearish/cute) and gave loads of free shots on both nights I went - visited Hans men spa at wan nian building. too bright for my liking. has a sauna and a steam room, guys are extremely varied in type but mainly in avg shape. place is definitely clean and new but i didn’t enjoy myself - 400 baht - visited Soi 13, 800 baht for 16 hours entry, can re enter once but must be within 4 hours of your departure. dark, cruisy, has steam room, sauna, cold and hot tub, loads of rooms - visit both places from 6-10pm, where it’s busiest - Taiwanese are reserved, but once they know you they really open up to you. Had one of my best experiences at commander d, met a Mongolian, American and a few Taiwanese. Owner also gave us free drinks. - there’s pride this weekend, getting a flight in to Taiwan is easy now. I flew Starlux, return tickets are cheaper than BKK return tickets on budget airlines (don’t even need to talk about SQ). To flight was 5 hours under as it’s against monsoon wind but return flight was 4 hours. - Starlux provides full service entertainment with delicious meals, on board entertainment and new beautiful aircraft (Plus male attendants are cute heheh) - stay in xmd, all the action (gay) can be found there except Soi 13.. hope this helps!
