Hi, for those who did solo travelling to taiwan/taipei, what is your itinerary like? Am thinking to spend like 5 days there alone, but not quite sure what to do. Any bros can share? TIA.

Was on the plane with you yesterday from Singapore to taipei. You are so friendly and i love your smile and how handsome you are. Could not help myself from stealing glances of you. Thank you for being so proactive in reaching out. Not sure if you’re a PLU, so I’m being cautious for now… Enjoy yourself whilst in Taiwan!

I went for Neil as he was one of two available for the timing I was looking at. I don't think you are required to tip as he was prepared to return me the change but I asked him to keep it.

Yes if it's the same one on their website.

They recommended me Neil. How’s his massage technique like? Face different from pic - in a better way or not so good? 😅

His massage technique is good - he helped me to loosen the knots in my back muscles. He's good looking in person, just not what you would expect based on the pic.

I will be at Taipei during the CNY week. Anyone can advise me if their shops and malls are open during the week long CNY holidays as understood Taiwan is having a week long Public Holiday there?

Hmm... Visited gongfu site, seems that their disclaimer says they dun provide 半套/全套服务 and it's against TW law also...

So.. question to fellow BWers, do you still get HE? And if raided, will get into trouble?

Well, even if they state. If individual therapists still do behind closed doors,  who will know.

Hello, can i check if I can stay in a hostel during my stay in taiwan? Those share bathroom and just a bunk bed kind.

Thank you

Previously it is not allowed, you need to stay in a place with your own bathroom. But please check the official rules again for any changes.

I was in Taipei a few weeks back, for about a week, and I did get the chance of checking out some of the massage places. I really enjoy this forum so I thought of doing this short report, for what it’s worth.

Arrival / Covid requirements

Super easy and smooth. You need to be double vaccinated, of couse, and the airline will check that upon check-in. But for the rest.. that’s it. They give you a test kits once you land in Taipei, and ask you to test yourself regularly. Super easy.

Gongfu (Max)

I had tried Royal several times in the past (before Covid), but never tried their Gongfu outlet. I have always liked the general vibe of Royal. The masseurs are nice, never pushy and very well trained. I booked Max via the website and they called me back about an hour later to confirm. Easy - all done in English.

Max turned out to be just like his photo on the website, maybe a bit chunkier. Very nice guy, quite charming I have to day. He’s pretty short but has a lot of strength. He have me a nice deep tissue massage for the first 45 min or so, and proceeded with a B2B. I think that’s their standard procedure. The deep tissue was really professionally and nicely done - exactly what I needed after the flight from Singapore. The B2B was what you expect it to be. Very sensual. I believe Max and I had a good connection. It didn’t feel robotic or anything like that, and we showered together at the end. I had a really nice time. And I would very much recommend Gongfu and Max to anyone visiting Taipei.

I should add that the Gongfu facilities are really nice! Private and super clear, with shower in the room.

It was my best experience of the trip. I was sorry to read that they found themselves raided recently. For what it’s worth, I always found them to have the best gay spa operations in the country. Pretty unfair that law enforcement is on their back, to be honest. I hope they’ll be able to continue operating.

Muddan (Nick)

I contacted Muddan on Line to book an outcall massage with Nick at my hotel. I will therefore be unable to comment on their facilities since I had the massage at my hotel.

Booking process was all done via line - quick and easy. I met Nick the next day in my hotel lobby. He was on time.

I found Nick super cute on the website photo - and, admittedly, that’s why I booked him. While he’s very cute in person too, I suspect his profile photos are photoshopped. Not a big deal but always a bit disappointing.

The sequence was the same: 45 min thai style « dry » massage and B2B for the rest. Muddan is a fine operations (I had tried it before), but their team’s massage skills are, say, average. Not bad. Just average. Probably less training than Gongfu/Royal. So the Thai-style deep tissue was, say, 7 out of 10, in my modest opinion.

The B2B part was nice and sensual. Nick certainly didn’t short-change me with time, quite the opposite! He took his time - which is always nice - and I believe the whole thing lasted almost 2 hours, when I had only booked him for 90 min.

So all in all a good experience. I would recommend it too.

GPlus (Alex)

GPlus has been around for 3 years or so, but I always had reservations about using them. They run a bit of a strange operation. They have a spa business - as well as a gay porn production one! That blurs the line, somewhat. And I was afraid it would just be a prostitution cover. But I decided to give it a try.

Same process: outcall massage booked through Line, in English. Easy, polite, and responsive. All good! Alex was on time and I met him downstairs in my hotel’s lobby.

Well, I was proven wrong: it’s legit! I had a great time! Alex’s looks are like on the website (though they still photoshop…).

Similar style: deep-tissue followed by B2B. For the deep tissue, Alex’s skills are quite unique. He is super strong. That’s not for the light hearted, believe me. He does apply A LOT of pressure. I did ask him to go lighter on me, which he did, but it remained pretty strong. Great massage - but be forewarned 🙂 The B2B was nicely done. The oil he used smelled really good! But I forgot to ask what sent that was.

So, to summarize: great experience!!! What I liked, also, was that Alex is a really bright guy. Very curious and super smart. We talked about Taiwan, politics, etc. (After the massage, obviouly). He speaks good English and was curious about Singapore too. I know that’s not what we ask from a masseur, necessarily, but it made the whole experience really good, and special.

GPlus (Henry)

Since my first experience was great, I had another go at GPlus, still for an outcall, on my last day. Alex was unavailable so I went for Henry.

Henry is a bit of a local celebrity in Taiwan’s vibrant local gay porn scene, in case you’re not aware. So I was curious to see how it would go.

Henry looks just like his profile picture (and movies…). He is a charming guy. Really. Super sweet, gentle and eager to please. His English is poor, but, between his English and my even more broken Mandarin, we managed to have a bit of a convo too.

His deep-tissue is excellent. Almost as good as Max’ at Gongfu. More gentle than Alex without being too soft. A bit more sensual too, without compromising on the massage’s quality. And the B2B was great.

I had an amazing experience with Henry. It’s hard to describe but I really felt we liked each other and were comfortable with each other. It may sound a bit weird but that’s the way I felt. The whole thing felt very… personal. I know this is highly subjective and masseur/massaged chemistry plays a role. And we had that. I would highly recommend Henry (except that I’d like to keep it to myself :-))

I hope you guys found this - not so short after all - field report useful. And remember: treat them with respect and tip those guys handsomely.

Thanks for the lengthy field report. Will now add Muddan to my to-try list & definitely check GongFu out next time.

Was there at Royal Spa recently. They are more discreet now in the provision of gay massage. For the normal massage such as back / foot massage, will be done on 2nd floor of the spa. In fact, I saw a lady going there for massage. For gay massage, the therapist will bring you through the staircase upstairs to 3rd or 4th level. The door can only be opened inwards by someone upstairs who is able to verify the therapist at the door. I guess this is to keep the police from storming in.

Went there for massage on 3 different occasions, HE (which in my case, just a HJ) is still offered at the end of the session. Chatted with the therapist that the police did a check but no action was taken against the shop. In fact, they are fully booked out during the countdown new year weekend.

Thanks for the info!

Alternatively, was thinking of getting outcall in the hotel room instead... Considering..

Which masseurs did you have? It's been a while so I'm not familiar with a lot of new faces there nor their skills.

  • Dean
  • Ken
  • Yoshida
  • Timmy
  • Max

These are in order of the massage skills (from first to last, where first is most preferred for me). Again massage skill is very subjective.

I'd ask how each of the guys were in terms of sexual details but posting on a public forum is what got them in trouble in the first place lol. I'm a medium firm kind of guy and I like guys who are more talkative so I guess that what I'd like to know for now. I love chatting so I need them to be chatty too. Any additional details will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry can't help you since I usually prefer to be quiet and really focus on enjoying the massage process. Dean seems to be a bit chatty, we talked before and after the last shower. Also seemed quite eager to please, caught me by surprise cause I didn't expect him to ...

I find Archie super cute! Seems like can only book 1 week in advance.. so.. might need to wait and see if able to book him during my trip...

His photos don't do him justice. For me he is the best, love his attention to details like cleaning my glasses - making sure they are spotless, helping me when stuck in my undies and pants or just making sure the massage pressure, room & shower temperature are okay. Too bad he didn't remember me the last time we met.

During my visit, I was only able to book an appointment once as he had some days off afterwards.

Btw which app is more popular in TW, Grindr or Jackd?

JackD is more widely used by locals while Grindr is more widely used by Westerns.

I do know of masseurs as a friend (We are connecting on LINE apps). But not too sure how serious your friend case to be, to see if they can help. Some stuff can get very touchy and sensitive to handle from third party perspective.

Will PM you later. Thx

Hello, anything interesting in Taichung such as gay massage, bars etc … Been doing research but nothing much came out…

TIA…

I dont think theres much to do there gay-wise. taipei has much more. HOWEVER there are a couple of straight clubs there that are fun. my best memory was that there was an emcee, and gogo dancers who pour alcohol directly into your mouth. needless to say all 5 of us stumbled back to hotel, and missed the train next day with the worst hangovers.

Having recently tried 2 massage establishments in Taipei in December, I would now avoid massages in Taipei, and better utilise my money elsewhere.

It's not that the massage wasn't good (they were not bad), just that the second hour of the massage which was supposed to be the oil massage, started hurriedly straight into getting you to cum, and all in all the sessions were short changed by about 40 mins. It's unlike sessions which I used to have when the action starts close towards the end of the duration.

Just sharing.

Mm.. maybe tis is previous practice already.. just arrive Taipei today.. airport given me a box of ART and ask me check myself.. no need show anything.. even during boarding. In conclusion, no check on Covid related is required.

I am about to leave fro Taiwan.

Any changes to the departure and arrival procedures?

It appears to me flying to Taiwan is pretty much like it was in the pre covid days.

I am grateful for any updates/confirmation to the departure and arrival procedures.  Many thanks in advance.

I am flying from Malaysia and I hold a Malaysian passport.

Sorry if this comes too late. Yes, there is not much requirements now. They didn't even check my covid vaccination status, though it is good to keep a hard copy of the certificate for inspection if needed.

Upon arrival, you were be asked to scan your hand carry bag and ensure that you do not carry any BBQ pork. If you have fresh fruits, please declare before screening. After that, it is straight to the immigration area for clearance. Here, they will take the capturing of facial image and finger print. Then you will be on your way to customs and into the open area.

For departure, pretty similar as precovid days, except that for SG passport, we can do e-Gate clearance instead of the manual departure clearance. You can check with the officer if MY passport is eligible for that. I think it should be so long as  the passport comes with the chip. You will need to scan passport at machine, then facial and finger print verification and you will be into the transit area. Enjoy your trip to TW!

For those who are visiting Taipei soon, you may wish to visit the Taipei Lantern Festival around Taipei 101. I was there just before they started and it looks like it is quite amazing. Unfortunately, I was scheduled to return back to Taipei after one week there and missed the chance to visit it.

If your time permits, do consider spending an evening around the area. It spans from the Taipei 101 area and the Sun Yen Sun MRT station.

Details can be found on the Taipei website as follows:
