I'm not sure about other countries, but in S'pore, whatever medical ailments that an NSF has, they will all miraculously heal when they ORD (complete their mandatory 2-year service).  😜

How is it being done in sg nowadays? during my time also strip down to underwear and walk around from station to station. only in one station need to pull down underwear and cough, so not really naked.

But heard now no more is it only strip in room?

i also heard from elder that in 60s 70s need to strip naked then cough and jump, is that true anyone can verify?

During your time is which year ?? 

I had my pre-enlistment checkup in 1993.  There is not naked walked around from station to station. 

I was told to drop my undie ONLY at the station they asked me to cover my mouth and cough.

Not sure if it's good idea? Back in those days, if memories didn't fail me, after stripping down to undies, we do have to move from station to station in just our undies. So even though it sounds hot and wild to be the only 'commando' guy before even enlisted, it's gonna be super embarrassing to be seen by everyone there for the medical checks as well as the working staff.

Strip to underwear was the last station of checkup, rest of the check up was done in the open area where is unisex.

 

I remember my time, there was one guy who did not wear underwear. The army guy manning the station asked him why he did not removed his pants and he said he did not wear underwear... haha

personally think, the best is still to wear boxers for the med check. it is still underwear, but not as skimpy as brief or boxer brief.

i do not meant purposely to be hot, but if that person is so used to go commando and really forgot to wear. so will they allow him to continue to wear his jeans going from station to station or ask him go and buy or worse case really go naked which i do not think so.

Wow...when was this? My time in the late 90s only required us to strip at the last station before seeing the MO. No one in my batch went commando, but it was already pretty hot with a roomful of 30+ guys stripped to our briefs.
