Anyone know the real reason why during medical checkup they ask to show and touch our private parts? Just curious, if you know can pm me. Cos some of my friends said that they didn't get touched.

dun worry too much. Just bring all the necessities. Bring spare HP bats in case they dun allow u to charge. ( most likely they won't ). Bring alot of underwears in case you too tired to wash. Also not to wear boxers if you usually do. If not your plt mates will have to see your accidental exposure everyday. No disposable underwear especially when u gona sweat alot.

Before enlisting, i was worrying if i could fit in, because im a rather quiet and bo chup person. But if you help people out/dont sabo people/get to know more people, you'll find that it's not as bad as you think it is

Good luck leopard crawling in the rain though. if you are enlisting soon D: but nothing is that bad really!! xD

hmm school 2? either you hit the jackpot by going into jaguar, or well.. there will always be ninja and kestrel to welcome you. just relax and try to enjoy, the 8 weeks will whizz pass you quickly. and bring a lot of clothes hangers and washing powder. don't care too much about your phone; you wouldn't have much time to use it unless you are in a slack coy. and then there's nothing to worry about.

meantime, just pray that you get into jaguar coy or orion coy. they are the slacker ones in school 2

lol why is school 2 the worst? actually i know my school cos of the enlistment date though they didnt state it on the letter..... what do u mean by batch? JC december batch?

An no worries! BMT is gonna be fun! Shag.. But fun. No time to tink about guys de la.. Everyday there will be tings for u to do... Alot of tings depend on ur coy.. But I doubt u will be allowed to charge ur fone, so bring extra batteries..

Will my vocation be perm after BMT?

BMT still consist of exercising right?

After watching Ah Boys to men, somehow disturb by sharing of bathroom, bunk, etc. I'm kinda anti-social :/

If you up PES, you will be posted back to tekong for PES A/B BMT and be revocated after BMT.

PES C BMT still will have exercising just its more relaxed compared to PES A/B

the 8 weeks PTP consists of mostly exercises and training only (running, swimming, interval training, strength training balblablbla)

You'll not be touching range, field camp and grenade till the 6-7th week or so when ur PTPphase is ending (unlike enhanced, i think they go for field camp in week 3)

So overall it's quite slack larh. As u spent 2 more months in there, the pace is much slower

Oh i taught 8 weeks PTP ... is like normal bmtc training >.< haha , 2 months right 8 weeks + 9 weeks BMTC >.< actually i totally need 8 weeks ptp cause no one training with me very sian , especially chin up i always got this problem , with this station and running .... some one please tell more or message me what is PTP .. kinda confuse le ..

We don't call that downgrade. I think we call that "excuse", i.e. excuse running, marching etc etc. and as mentioned above, bring it to your medical centre of your unit.

Ok I have a tattoo the size of a palm on my thigh and it's pretty high above so can't be seen when wearing normal PE shorts. But here's the thing I kept it from my parents.

If I declare NO tattoo on the form they mailed me will I screwed when they found out or me declaring the tattoo on the checkup day?

Will parents be informed?

What should I do?

u need to come to me and i will pull down your pants to check your tattoo so as to access whether you need to declare. dun worry, since you said your tattoo is pretty high on your thigh, i will not pull down your pants totally.

You should definitely tell the truth on your form. They will find out, and it will not be good if they found out you lied.

I don't see why your parents would be informed if you have a tattoo, unless you need them to sign the form?

I going Mono Intake Infantry unit .. heard from friends said that BMTC at Pulau Tekong is quite different then the one at doing in camp BMT

It sure is.

You won't get the same feeling of dread,stuck on an island away from home and everyone around you is under strict regimentation.

Mono-intake camps - You can be sure the rest of the camp outside the battalion is slacking way harder.
