Eh, PESC9L9 will be going through the new BMT system which is not 7 weeks in Tekong if i'm not wrong.

Every posting orders to enlistees, if they're headed to Tekong, will be listed as BMTC HQ, regardless of whether you'll be doing enhanced, ptp or modified BMT.

Your PESC9L9 should entail the following,

4 weeks of basic military training at tekong, meaning you'll learn all the basics of being in the military, marching, and weapon handling. Yes, there'll be a fieldcamp too.

After which, you'll move onto sembawang camp and to be trained for your vocation. WALA after that, you'll then be posted to your unit.

Yeah you'll definitely gain weight in army cause you'll be eating non-stop to waste time after you reach your unit. Breakfast, tea break, lunch, tea break, dinner. 5 meals a day.

BMT actually allows camera phones now.

Nokia/Camera-less BB is recommended because you might not be able to bring a camera phone when you pass out to a unit.

But 2/4/4mths + 2 weeks is a long time. You decide.

Wear black framed specs. Nothing too fanciful.

You don't wanna get screwed on the basis of your fancy accessories.

dun worry too much. Just bring all the necessities. Bring spare HP bats in case they dun allow u to charge. ( most likely they won't ). Bring alot of underwears in case you too tired to wash. Also not to wear boxers if you usually do. If not your plt mates will have to see your accidental exposure everyday. No disposable underwear especially when u gona sweat alot.

Before enlisting, i was worrying if i could fit in, because im a rather quiet and bo chup person. But if you help people out/dont sabo people/get to know more people, you'll find that it's not as bad as you think it is

I am at bmtc school 2 . Third week already and it is really fun!

hmm school 2? either you hit the jackpot by going into jaguar, or well.. there will always be ninja and kestrel to welcome you. just relax and try to enjoy, the 8 weeks will whizz pass you quickly. and bring a lot of clothes hangers and washing powder. don't care too much about your phone; you wouldn't have much time to use it unless you are in a slack coy. and then there's nothing to worry about.

meantime, just pray that you get into jaguar coy or orion coy. they are the slacker ones in school 2

I am a C9L2 and there was still some decent degree of physical activities, the line draws even further at C9L3. With C9L9 you can be sure that you definitely won't be doing much.
