EasleyLim Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) As with all procedural blood tests, no news is good news. So no, you won't be getting your test results back if everything is ok. Edited September 6, 2013 by EasleyLim Quote
Blacque Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I did my ORD FFI at Nee Soon Camp Medical Centre, and I got my blood test results on paper. Quote Instagram: vodkabaker
Guest Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 The MO will tell you your results when you go back for your review after you did your Dental FFI. Quote
Guest Guest Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 wasnt told the results, that was back in 2008. i was told only if u positive then they tell u Quote
Zackling Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 i just went for my FFI at Jurong camp on 20th Aug & then a 2nd round on 2nd sept due to some issues in my blood. I was told that i had early symptoms of diabetes, but in order for further check up, SAF sent me a sms to report to CGH for further check up in oct. During the FFI, i was told that i had irregular heart beats too, so they are sending me to specialists to check on my heart, my knees also is a problem, ringing tone in my right ear since nsf days.. due to the fact that i dropped out my right ear piece at the rifle range unknowingly till i fire my shots and the ringing went on since then.. so just take it easy bro, not sure, call the hotline & check with ur unit. iamcute Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Is there an age limit that one will be exempted from National Service? I have a friend who is turning 25 soon, yet to called up for NS, been seeing the specialist (referred by CMPB) for three years. Due to this, he's unable to further his studies, etc. Tried asking other friends about it, but none seems to know the answer. Quote I am cute. But, only chub chaser(s) will be interested. Guest Guest Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I personally never liked NS. I didn't like to shout at the top of my lungs (which they claimed was important so that you could be heard), so going into NS felt like I couldn't be 'myself' or that they wanted to change your personality. All it had on me was to make me retreat deeper into my shell and build larger walls around myself. 2 years after NS, I'm now trying to open up again. NS had a profound psychological effect on me which I would rather completely forget. Quote

All it had on me was to make me retreat deeper into my shell and build larger walls around myself. 2 years after NS, I'm now trying to open up again. NS had a profound psychological effect on me which I would rather completely forget. I think you enter Army with a psychological issue and you are now having what I think is post traumatic Army disorder which need medical professional to look into your condition. Because I can agree with that Army life will change a person, but usually on the positive aspect e.g. building character, develop leadership qualities, etc. I am sure, it is also a transition for many where they will have to grow up to become men, instead of still sucking on thumbs and having their mother or maid do their laundries, and chores fr them, etc. Millions fellow Singaporeans had gone through the same things you had gone through and many had fond memories that they can recount over and over again. If you have had nothing to take away with you after your 2 years in the army which that had benefited or helped you in your current work life or had created a positive impact for you, then sadly you had really wasted the 2 years in there. Which comes back to; what were you like if you were to be yourself? Introverted? Negative? mama's boy? It seems that you might really have a psychological issue but I doubt it has anything to do with the army life you had gone through. You might want to go get some counseling and get into the root cause of your issues. Though I am not a psychologist, but I am rather certain, your problem is deeper than you think. Please get help soon. Just my 2 cents. Smiles 1 Quote http://gachimuchi2008.blogspot.com

Yes revocation and other issues like staying out and having no duties extending after standard working hours will be brought up as well. Quote

EasleyLim Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) I find it odd how there can be so many people who don't realize guys can get random boners regardless of their sexual orientation. If you got hard during the examination then the worst thing that can happen is just you being very embarrassed. Just give some lame excuse like you haven't jerk off for a while or something if he asks, which i doubt he would anyway. There's nothing embarrassing when it's all guys there e_e Edited January 2, 2014 by EasleyLim Quote
GachiMuchi Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Come on. As if the MO had not seen guys who have a hard on during their examination. I am cock sure that he had seen countless young guys day in and day out from the super fit with 6 pack to the not-so-fit and from small insignificant cock to super huge cocks till he is already immune. Regardless whether you are going to have a hardon or that your dick is only few millimeter, you would still have to drop your undies and show the doctor your cock. He will not touch your cock. Even if he does, it will be with gloves. He is not looking at your cock, unless there are some kind of growth, etc. He is looking at your 2 testis and to make sure that your testis will rise and fall when you turn your head and cough. He is examining if you have any testicular issues. Quote http://gachimuchi2008.blogspot.com

topLTR_93 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I get dizzy always. I have never passed NAPFA or IPPT cos I will vomit if I over-exert myself during 1.6km (during primary school) and 2.4km. In some cases I have even blacked out.Blacking out is not fun. It's not like sleeping. You see everything turn monochrome then blur. You won't feel anything. It's more scary than desirable. I've always thought that maybe this was because I wasn't fit. Or heat exhaustion. I didn't have the money to consult a specialist anyway before enlistment. I was assigned PES B2L3 because of my lazy eye and thus excused range. I served my time. I learnt a lot from National Service, even though I didn't enjoy it. But while serving, I blacked out in camp after Physical Training, and after all that evacuation, MO consultations,6 months light duty and stuff I was finally referred to the specialist. Long story short, there is something wrong with my blood pressure and circulation. Specialist memo specifically prohibited me from "prolonged standing" and to "squat if I feel giddy". I gave my letter to the MO and he gave me a 84days status. I sucked it upFinally I was about to ORD. I have never passed IPPT and that cost me my 3SGT rank. I won't ever pass IPPT unless I train so hard to the brink of death. I don't want to attend RT or IPT for the rest of my working and uni life. I threw in my memo again during the ORD medical clearance. And the reply was ... "It's not severe enough to warrant a downPES"I'm at my wits end. What should I do? Are there medical officers during NSman IPPT /RT/IPT? Are all medical officers that anal (cos my friend just downgraded to PES C2 cos of mere colour blindness -.-)? My PES is just a notch above C2. Are they that asshole?! Sorry needed to get this out. singalion 1 Quote Sianz.
xshadowxx Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Hi! Okay here's the thing, I have OCD and Bulimia but it's not really diagnosed by a doctor. I roughly mentioned once to my parents about my OCD but didn't go into detail about it because I'm embarrassed about it. Basically for me OCD I would tend to do thing in counts of five until I feel like it's been done right and some other stuff. For bulimia no one really knows about it, my two best friend knew I had it in 2012 but both of them thinks I've stopped already but the truth is I never did. I don't know if it's still considered bulimia, nowadays I try to avoid rice and carbs at all cost and whenever I do eat it I would go throw it up at the toilet and also at times when I'm feel full. (I do it about once a day on average) So the thing is my medical checkup for NS is coming up and I would really like to bring this up with the doctor, but is it possible for the doctor to keep it a secret and not inform my parents and family about it? So sorry for asking about it here, I have no idea where else to turn to. PS: I know throwing up food after you eat is dangerous but I can't help it and I am trying to recover from it but it'll probably take some time. Quote
