As for flip or not, The originators of the method have switched from flip to no flip . so they now have revised what they teach doctors to do. I went to Wuhu China, the headquarters of the Shang Ring makers. I was trained by the master trainer at the hospital there who does several circumcisions per day. The method he did and was later taught to me was the no flip technique. Currently this is the technique performed by them and they feel gives the best results and ease of procedure. You can follow the twitter account to see the results of @coffee recovery on his twitter account. How is it not easy to clean? The remaining foreskin is already so loose, just need to pull it back while showering. If anybody can't even do that then I think it's a personal hygiene problem rather than a physiological issue. Also, let's say I am really unhappy about a partial circumcision, I can always do a full circumcision one later. But I can't go back to a partial circumcision once a full one is done.
