Star-crossed lovers Yue Niang and Chen Xi will meet again after their separation at the railway track. Producers of the popular Chinese drama worked on the story just days after the finale of the series on January 5. The script for the capsule was finalised on January 8 and filming was completed the following day. Did they later account for how she was rescued? or she turned wonder woman.........I'm not being sarcastic but had thot did I miss some parts for I just remember Yu wu and Wei xiu screaming Yueniang's name on and on and thot huh ending is Yueniang died? U guys can make a trip down to Malacca and stay in this hotel, Hotel Puri. Where they shoot the series. This is the house that old Yueniang stay and u can really see the sparrow flying around in the small lobby and the real bird nest which show in the series. I visited the hotel 2 weeks before the show aired. It is also near to the Peranakan museum which is down the road. I am visiting again with my bf during Valentine day this year. Anyway if you are stayin in hotel puri, choose to stay over friday or weekend. As there will be night market along the street. Which is what i didnt do the last trip cos i return on the Thurs. If u stay over normal weekday. Well it is actually a ghost town after 6pm. Most restuarant close early. End up we got to go eat mee goreng and roti prata for dinner during our last visit. Anyway, it is also walkin distance to site visit the red house( the fort ), shopping mall or catch a movie for RM7 per person. Food is not bd over there. The chicken rice ball store sell good chicken rice but is on ahigh side. The chendo is good. But I never miss a single annual telecast of our local 'Oscar' ceremony. This is of course The Little Nyonya's year. Multiple nominations so much so that you wonder if this is the only outstanding series on Ch. 8 last year.I am always a little puzzled by the nomination of the most popular 20 artists list. First of all, who gets to come up with the initial list? Take the most popular male artists for example... I scratch my head wondering how on earth do actors like Zhu Hou Reng (I always have a crush on him), Chen Shu Cheng, Ge Ping got on the list while rising hot throbs like Dai Yang Tian wasn't even considered... why is Gurmit Singh on the list???.... he hasn't acted in any Ch. 8 series at all. I have only two wishes. To see my favourite compere Kym Ng on the most 10 popular female artists that night. And also to see Joanne Peh win the best actress award over Jeanette Aw. Almost all the nominees for all criteria are decided internally. This is a very common practice for mediacorp. Little Nonya is so far mediacorp best drama serial made (i heard Channel 8 highest Rating so far) and thats why they making a very big hoo ha about making sure it is inside the Star Awards. I wont be surprise the drama will swept all awards though I hardly think high of Jennette Aw. Prefer Joanne Peh. Singapore TV is just a bunch of wayang, from the head to the crew and every actor and actress were subjected not thru popularity but the management likings. If you show any actors or actresses faces and asked me to name who they are, I will definitely score a zero because I don't watch Ch8 drama or star shows, or newbies competition show or any other for that matter. I will bore to death literally until my neighbour found out and scream for help>Don't waste money or your time on it. If Singapore became a dead town lack of entertainment or movies, you might just consider tuning in briefly to watch this "star award". I prefer to simply sit in front of my PC and watch pxxn.
