Hey guys, I have some news on Hero massage to share. As there is a bit of a slow down on property development the owners of The Prince massage have negotiated a lease on the old Hero premises, not too sure just how long the lease is though. Well the good news is that on November 30th they will be reopening there as New Hero, they have some of the old Hero staff going back there and are hoping to entice other former Hero boys to go back as well

yes VERY pricey...the onsen is 650, whereas at Yunomori it is only 450, quite a difference.

 

Yes Cutey and Beauty is a hair salon,  but for some reason I thought they do massages too. Maybe they do and just don't put it on their website. I don't know as I never go there. I go to Up 2 You and Salon for my waxing, nice guys and cheaper than glitzy Cutey and Beauty

Yup, Healthland is usually straight-laced. Probably the masseuse knows you not straight, and try to open a scenario so can negotiate HE with tips. 
Usually they won't try this sort of thing there.

 Most gay clubs and spas are around Silom Area, and Baiyoke was not good for me.

The location isn't close to any train stations, it takes you 10mins walk to the airport link  and 15mins walk to Siam station. The hotel do have free shuttle bus to Siam, but not easy to catch up. Then the surroundings were quite messy and noisy. Unless you want to buy the cheap stuffs only for the entire trip.

I recommend you to try the tantric massage which located at Silom, the name is Spa Bangkok.

It has 3 branches but silom one is most convenient... You can find nice and cheap hotels around easily!

Spa Bangkok offers tantric massage and it's for men only. The boys might not as hot as those kind of sexual spas, but still okay then their skills are quite good! The boys are not making money from sex as well, but you can just give small amount tips which same as other normal spas. Seriously! They will bring you to the heaven!

My masseur was 20+ yo, lean and also very lacklustre. I did not take any special massage, as I wanted to try their basic and where their standard is. I have never been back to Dr. Bear.

 

For the price and skill, doesn't seem worth it. But for the special HE, maybe go to them, then again, HE can get anywhere also...so I am a bit ambivalent about this establishment.

I visited the original Dr Bear shop (close R3) last week.  My worst massage experience of all time.  The shop is very basic and the masseur was elderly and fat with minimal massage skills and damp clammy skin. The art of a good massage is to use just enough oil but no more than enough.  My masseur used enough oil for ten massages and it was a gross experience. Eventually I got up and walked out - it was that bad- and took MTR to Silom and had an excellent and rather playful massage at Bonny.
