I asked a local regarding this. According to him, Songkran celebration will take place as per normal. He shared that the sensitive mourning period is over, and with the new successor, there is no issue with celebrating songkran. These are usually the upscale ones 2. proper ones with the possibility of hanky-panky. Most massage shops in Silom area fall in this category. The probability and extent of the hanky-panky depends on the shop and the individual masseur 3. the gay full-service shops (like Banana which you mentioned), where there is a minimum tip and full sex in included in the course Banana not sure, I forgot. I think minimum tip might be 1000 or so, plus price for the massage. Or was it 1700 all-in? Can't remember sorry There is an upscale, but still inexpensive massage shop very near Bandara Hotel, just opposite and about 100m to the left called Sook Sabai. They do have male masseurs too, but this is a category 1 shop.
