I think most people still call it Chakran.  It is possible the VCK Cool Space is the massage arm of Chakran - but I could be wrong.  I have not visited Chakran for a while.  The last time was pre-Covid.

Yes it is still open. Lots of hunks and muscular guys. Never tried the massage so I don't know. 

 

Chakran is the suana located within the same space. They have the massage arm, the sauna arm and the hotel/hostel arm named Blu cabin or something.

There are plenty of other nicer hotels popular with gays in the city for your next vacation like the Renaissance in Chitlom (shopping and G-circuit queens), Le Meridien (Silom boys) and the new Standard (hi-so crowds). Prices are not as cheap now - hotels are back to pre-pandemic prices due to the return of the Chinese tourists. Shop around for off-peak pricing

I have checked the link you have kindly provided, but that link was for Sportman Hostel & Sauna along Lao Phrao Road in Ban Song Krathiam, while Athlete Allure is in Din Daeng.

There is Siam SongKran fest, but it's not a circuit party and it is for straights. But as seen in past years, it can capture the overspill of gays who may not be able to attend GCircuit.

 

GCircuit is still where you want to be, for obvious reasons. I bought the tix last year, super early bird category I think.

Honestly, I was so disappointed with Sportman Hostel & Sauna. The place was quite smelly. On the other hand, from my previous experience, Athlete Allure is new and much better vibes. 😁

He has a “catalog” for your reference as well 😅 Price wise is close to/or higher than what Healthland is charging depending on what course you choose.

I tried Prime massage as recommended by many here, the clients are 99% PLUs with an occasional 1% clueless tourists and aunties 😅 the foot and body massages are great. For my case, strictly professional. It seems you can’t indicate the same masseur for your next appt; they assign at random. Good quality for the cheap price. 

 

Onsen:

 

I visited Yunomori Onsen Sathorn and the crowd was a mix of Singaporeans, PRCs, Koreans and majority Thais. Quality of crowd depends on timing and luck. Personally, I do see better looking patrons after working hours (5pm - 6pm) where you will see nearby white collar workers getting off work but it gets crowded. Before that crowd is generally thinner.

 

A nice Thai gentleman whom I spoke to at the onsen told me that if I prefer young guys, I can visit Kino Sento where the patrons are mostly young PLUs. I just laughed and said I prefer mature distinguished fit guys like him 😂

 

 

If you are there right now, just note that the heat is insane, bring shades and sun protection and definitely deodorant!
