Hi Field Report on the bathhouse/onsen in Bangkok that I’ve tried.

 

I’ve been there last week for 6D5N for a solo birthday trip and on that 5 nights I visited 3 bathhouses.

 

First, Kaikan Onsen: This is my favorite in terms of facilities. You can really tell the place is brand new. Everything is great and there are a lot of options to choose from: there’s 4 pools I think, one is hot stone pool, 1 dry sauna and 1 steam room, comfort room and shared shower. The actions can happen anywhere but mostly in the private rooms in 2nd floor, there’s also common sleeping/resting area in 3rd floor plus massage chairs. Not much crowd since it’s a Wednesday night, few foreigners, mostly local Thai guys (hot, huge dicks lol and approachable). The best part also is it’s open from 3pm to 8am the next day. There’s also restaurant inside if you’re tired and hungry from all the fun. I would definitely be back! Walkable from BTS Saphan Khwai station. Price: 450 THB

 

Second, Zen Onsen: This is relatively new, they’re more active in social media so it’s easier to know them. The place is so chic and modern. I think it’s 5 floors, entrance then you go upstairs on the locker room, then there’s downstairs for the wet area, lounge area is 3rd floor (very cozy) where you can order drinks and pastries - big serving for the drinks and I had 50THB discount as a first timer, and in 4th and 5th floor are the private rooms, with massage chairs in 4th flr. The crowd here is a lot, maybe because it’s Friday and mostly twinks/youngsters - so if you’re into that, go visit here. What I don’t like here is the wet area, it’s very small - 1 hot pool, 1 steam room, there’s two jars with water you can dive in and the shower area which has limited space. I wish they would expand the wet area since everything else is great. Accessible also since it’s just near the exit of BTS Ratchayothin station. Price: 450 THB

 

Now, lastly for my last night in BKK, I went to KRUBB Bangkok Social Club & Sauna. If you’re looking for an all out action and wild cruising experience, this is the place to be. I think it’s 6 floors, entrance, locker, gym and all the steamy actions/private rooms are in 4th and 5th floor, then sauna, steam, hot pool and mini bar in 6th floor. Going to 4th and 5th floor is like a maze. There’s sleeping area in 4th flr and in one room there’s a common area where they’re playing gay porn on a big screen haha. Mix of crowds, all types, foreigners and locals. They also have free condoms and lubes there. Walkable from BTS Phra Khanong. Price: 390 THB (for foreigners), 290 for locals and expats.

Tawan is a place where you into big alpha muscular body builder if you into muscular worship is good as some have big còck some only semi hard and small due to the steriods. As for me is great to fuck them as they are actually straight turn bi due just to earn money.

went Ratchada sauna on Monday night 7pm, at 9pm they having Mask night and everyone wearing cover-face masks Fxxking inside a room... It usually rains every late afternoon and stops at night time. It could sometimes extend in the night too. Very unpredictable.

They were closed because of location as the new BTS line was extended northward passing Ratchayothin area where it is more convenient to travel to newer and better onsen concept style gay cruising places like Kino sento and Zen. 
Ageism was also play a role in they demise as they only limited younger patrons. That does not bode well with the customers. Sure it may be preferable for the younger crowd to meet people with their age but the younger crowd don't have the spending power as the mature one. Plus, it is wrong.
