Went Maxwell onsen— very nice place. Price is now 600 baht. Quite a lot of 1/0 activities at the individual rooms at level three. Salt and mindfulness room was quiet though. Strongly recommend!

thinking of going Klover- anyone to recommend? The additional 1000/2000 tips is in addition to the 500 ie 1500/2500? We must bring the cash up to the massage rooms before hand? Thank you!

check Line then see who you fancy

yes cash

Are stuff like PreP easily available to buy in BKK or should I just bring my own supply over?

Easy to buy. Best to bring your own supply over, cause you will need to start before arriving at Bangkok. Don't waste your time in Bangkok hunting for prep. Just spend the time enjoying what you want to do :)

🥹 trying to book the popular hostels for New Year’s Day and eve, apparently everywhere is fully booked 😭 How often do people book in advance?

if you are going at the busiest times, then not to book well in advance is highly risky

unless you are not at all fussy about where you stay

There are two hostels

Togayther is a 5 storey hostel with private rooms and dorms.

Togayther Black is within the premises of 1/0 sauna. It only has large dorm.

places for u guys?

Food, shop and relax

Iconsiam for me, not so much shopping but more for the vibes. Love the indoor floating market. To buy stuff, Centralworld is great, they have everything and is in a good location. Nearby is Big C, where lots of people shop for souvenirs, mainly snacks and herbal balms.

Food I really love Charmgang, would always go back every time I’m in Bangkok. The curries are amazing, especially the beef cheek curry.

For proper spa and massages my favorite is Once Upon A Thai. It’s so relaxing, environment is great and the whole experience from start to finish is amazing. A bit pricier but worth it.

Hi all! I’m heading for Songkran 2026 in BKK and would love gay-friendly hotel suggestions that are part of GHA Discovery or Bonvoy. Looking for somewhere with a great vibe, inclusive environment, and ideally close to spa, nightlife/scene. Appreciate your recommendations. Thanks

I would like to ask which cruise usually people will go for the chao praya cruise so many to choose i dont know which to choose haha

On our men's retreat trip back in Sept last year we went on The Opulence, which is slightly more upmarket than the rest of the usual ones but not high end like those Banyan Tree or Anantara ones. We were quite impressed with it. It wasn't full (downstairs was not occupied, everyone was seated on the open deck), the good was decent for buffet, but the best part was the Filipino band was really good and yet not overly loud.

Quarter Silom and Ibis Silom

With the gradual increase in prices for Quarter, used to be 70-ish when I stayed last year to now over 90-100 per night, seems like it isn't that value for money.

But the convenience is definitely there, massage, bars etc 🤣

For Bonvoy hotels, your best option is the Le Meridien hotel in Silom.  In the middle of all the gay actions.  You can walk across the street and have all the gay go go bars to feast your eyes and bring back your conquests. The other option is the W hotel in Silom, but it is farther away but still doable if the Le Meridien is sold out.

During Songkran week, the Quarter hotel rooms are from $196 to over $250 US dollars per night.  Unbelievable how much they jacked up the price.  With that kind of money, I stay at the Le Meridien.

Amara hotel can also be considered. close to the silom market

Ok i’ll give it a go. Thanks

I've been to the Heaven Sauna multiple times and yes, it hits your age range but more catered to bears and stocky build, around 70-80% + chasers.

Nice to hang around at the rooftop for a tan or just sit at the bar for a beer. They distribute number tags during Songkran season but wait time is not too long. Enjoy!

Thanks. Love bear and stocky type. Will check it out for sure.

I'm off to Bangkok and Hua Hin, in February. My, 1st visit since before Covid.

Now that the Chinese are not visiting in large numbers anymore, I'm expecting a quiet visit.

Hua hin was very quiet back in November when I was there. It may be too quiet for those who want some actions.
