I entered the room and the doctor asked questions about how you want it done. Tight or loose , high or low. He would then ask u to lie down and the nurse would leave the room. He would then give u anaesthetic in that area. He would then proceed to clamp it for a while before snipping it off. It is relatively painless , u wont feel much. It is only the sewing up that hurts a bit. He would then bandage it and give u some cleansing liquid for u to dry clean your part for the week.I recommend wearing loose pants and take a cab back home after. There was blood dripping down my pants after i left the clinic. Try not to have any unneccessary going out for the first few days. Its rather easy to tear the wound open. I used to have really bad phimosis and was unable to even retract it while flaccid, but a month of constant stretching together with the steroid cream has now allowed me to retract the foreskin while erect. Just a thought, but going with the less invasive and painful procedure might be the better first line of treatment.
