Had an adult circumcision done few years back. The worst part is when I wake up in the morning with an erection. Imagine the stitches still there and with blood stain along the cut line. Dear troubleboy, my advice is to get advice from a true doctor before u try to apply anything or do something to it. Its your life vein, mind u, don get hurt or make it worse, just for the sake to save money or feel shy. U may paid an even higher price if anything goes wrong. yours is a geniune case so believe that doctors would not laugh at u and will help u solve this problem. Get a close buddy to company u, if none then be brave and face it yourself.

Dun be afraid of circumcision. You should give it a serious thought. It is a very simple surgery and u sld be asleep or wont feel any pain due to anasthetics. It costs less than $500 on the whole and recovery takes less than a month. You can check out circumcision threads here or at trevvy.

You have tight foreskin from the picture..if you cannot retract the foreskin till you can see the gland, than go for circumcision. I did mine at age 17..no biggie. Just do it because its a matter of time and it will be more embarrassing the longer u drag.

Looks like you have phimosis (non-retractability of the foreskin over the glans).

If so, ICT is right in that betamethasone valerate (or betamethasone dipropionate) cream works as an alternative to circumcision in many cases. Betamethasone is a potent corticosteroid and extended use especially down there is risky without proper medical supervision.

WHICH MEANS like it or not, you have to see a doctor. Adverse reactions to corticosteroids can range from stinging and burning, to pigmentation, to blistering and ulceration of the skin.

So PLEASE do not go and try stupid things like self-medicate based on advice provided on a non-medical forum.

With that case of phimosis, probably the doctor may recommend a tiny snip or the more tedious method of getting you to stretch your skin.

I used to have phimosis when I was younger; I didn't even dare to retract for fear of pain.

Then my relative underwent circumcision and I got intrigued by it.

It has been said before on this topic, a complete removal is not necessary. A small enlargement snip is possible. Look for another doctor if the first one doesn't know how. Slow patient natural stretching methods are still best.

The purpose of our foreskin is to protect your glans from any rubbing and keep tender and sensitive when you touch it.

God us this way don't do unnecessary surgery.
